Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

I think Red Sonja holds that title.

Red Sonja missed the mark by about, oh, two decades.

Calling someone a "human rabbit turd" and a "human cum rag" within one tweet of each other shows a shocking lack of originality, especially for someone who's supposed to be a creative professional. It's like an "after dark" version of Big Bang Theory humor. Cringy, lame and desperate.

I think considering Johnny boy as such is very, very, veeeeeeery generous of you. Even so, it appear he lives with another person, and that person's children so perhaps he's lashing out at others for his shortcomings in life?

I’m what you might consider a lower/mid-range whale. I’ve got a dozen or so o4-figure books & have sold a 5-figure book. I probably spend in the vicinity of $5-10k/year? My buying this year tho has dropped down to maybe $1-2k/year because of the pro antics. I got into it with some troon indie weirdo saying “you’re replaceable” & I said “of course I am as a buyer. Not not my volume. You need 10-20 of the typical readers to make up for 1 of me” & she seemed to have a cognitive dissonance with grasping that those that buy volume still have a bigger impact than the kid buying $20/month in comics.

It's not so much cognative dissonance, it's just the usual horseshit of these morons moving into an industry like a plague of fucking locusts. They don't understand the concept or economics of anything, let alone the part where hardcore fans are always always going to be your biggest spenders. They really cannot understand the idea of someone loving their hobby so much that they'd drop such considerable amounts of money on it. They legitimately think you are just another customer who spends a paltry $20 a month on your "little drawings books" rather than being the person who drops $100+ a month on that holographic cover or virgin edition, or are how a lot of the ancillary stuff gets pushed.

They cannot comprehend the idea of fandoms because they themselves just... don't have hobbies. That's the thing I have noticed a lot with these people that have invaded the creative arts in the last few years. They're legitimately in it to push their ideology and make money or have a "geek job" because god knows working in an office or a workshop or something is beneath them. Beyond that these people are fucking voids they don't do anything unless they get significant praise for it or paid for it. They have no real concept of loving something and wanting to just enjoy it for the sake of it.

How do they choose this as the person they project themselves as?

I don’t know who this person is, but they come off as deeply awful, just the worst, most exhausting kind of person.

No matter who wins this autistic slapfight, the silent majority is going to be deminished. I don’t have the fucking time for this, and I’m disgusted with the “anti-side”.

Same as you, I own some big books and used to be a big comics supporter. I left with the gross spider man “one more day” line, and always wanted to come back when good creators were back at marvel. After this? I’ll never be back.

That's what annoys them so much. All the connections in the world mean fuck all when a guy comes along with a superior product and knows how to speak whale. The fact he has any success infuriates them no end.

All they had to do was ignore him and he'd just be doing what he was doing previously, tisming along on an obscure YouTube channel to a few fellow nerds about things he liked talking about.

It's amazing these shitheads don't see they're the ones who are the obvious bullies in this.

It doesn't help that many of them are technically employed by Disney even if they want to point out it's freelance work. You aren't really an underdog in any meaningful way.

YaBoi made a video about it, apparently Nasser is around 20y/o and on the spectrum:

The worst type of bullies (imo) are those that were previously bullied and decided to inflict on others what they experienced the moment they got power of any kind.

I can completely believe most of the comic creators were actually bullied in their childhood, you don't get to where Mags or Soylets like Layman currently are without them. But they chose to do the same to others the moment they gained influence and as such deserve no pity. Like its been mentioned multiple times before, these people act like its high school all over again. They have their little clicks, Kwanzer and the brothas have their own little section of blaxploitation, Mags and the troon squad have their "Woe is me tranny self" goth club, Mark Waid and the knights Who say "Soy" with their white knighting, the only click I have a hard time believing were ever bullied would be Heather and the milkshakers who are obviously the mean girls from high school.

They were assblasted and made an entire shitshow out of no more than 4 salty tweets out of 90-ish positive ones. But I do in a way thank them for their overreaction, this is an interesting/entertaining look into the burning trash fire of an industry.

Anyone else remember how women won the right to vote and slavery was ended because someone Tweeted? Enjoy your little nappy time, Cap. Sperging online for hours can really wear an autist out, right?

"See, when a CGer criticizes a POC, it's HARASSMENT. But when me and my friends do it, those little shitstains totally have it coming! Only WE get to anoint people as racists!"

Pretty weird how all these people are creating twitter accounts where they pretend to be super heroes to shit post at some old dude who makes more money than them and his fans.

I know I'm impressed by "professionals" engaging in autistic roleplaying on social media in between harassing people with pictures of their hairy assholes.
