It's a lot of money in most of the world. The top 1% worldwide make $32,000+ a year, whereas the top 1% in the US makes 450k+. The caveat is that on a global scale, Bumfuck Missouri is one of the more expensive places to live.

Since I played EVE this is pretty funny. Goons are now the shrieking fags crying about problematic language that we used to relentlessly mock.

I wonder why they have to buy hundreds of dollars of banners to desperately try and find people if they are now super woke and thought purging. We may never know. This certainly couldn't be related to SA's own dwindling numbers in the face of outraged wokes destroying the community.

It's $2000 a month on top of what the forums bring in. Most people aren't getting a couple of grand a month on top of their usual job for doing nothing. I'm sure it would be shit to try to survive on that money alone even in Bumfuck, Missouri, but it's still a fallback position many people don't have.
