How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

I'd argue that Canada is worse. Look at who is Prime Minister.
Unless we have the Bernie democrats take over. Fact of the matter is Bob and his ilk would be responsible for the collapse of American values and society since they are making the government and media appeal to their feelings.

Fun bit of trivia: Frank Darabont's ending for The Mist differs significantly from Stephen King's, but King has publically stated that Darabont's is far better.
King also thinks Kubrick's classic version of The Shining is an insult to his novel that tries to pass off topiary animals as spooky so...take what he says with a grain of salt. (I thought The Mist movie's ending was a cop out).

To be fair, the topiary animals worked pretty well in the novel. Kubrick scotched them because he felt -- particularly with 1979-1980 era SFX -- there was no way to do them convincingly or frighteningly.

That the King-approved (and penned, I think) '96 miniseries proved him 100% correct should not be overlooked.

Really? I thought it was absolutely vicious.

The original ending (where they're in the car but not sure what to do yet) was creepy enough in an understated, 'what's out there now?' kind of way. But the movie ending, with Thomas Jane's character having mercy-killed the two senior citizens, his girlfriend, and his son, but lacking any bullets for himself -- then only to find out that the army is actually on the move and pushing the mist back... well, that's a psychological kick right in the jimmies with steel-toed boots.

But in the immortal words of Dennis Miller, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Also, working at McDonald's doesn't constitute "cuisine".

Someone should alert the CEOs of the various vidya companies and let them know someone with no real professional work experience believes he has all the answers to their woes.
Forty something shut ins that preorder resin statues...

Bob, you spent money on Mario statuettes, did you not? While I think nerd swag is fucking dumb...pot, kettle, black.

When it came out I was in a college creative writing class and people wrote endings like that week in and week out. It's kind of a weak "gotcha!" twist to me.

I guess in reality it probably would be scary especially from Danny's POV but it didn't gel for me and just left me scratching my head. I generally speaking thought The Dead Zone and Salem's Lot were better books (and The Dead Zone's film is maybe one of the most underrated Cronenberg films and best Christopher Walken performances).

I'm struggling to find a way to tie this back to MovieBob but...HE'S FAT!

When game industry is full of rapist and sexual predator as the movie industry is, then you can maybe call it "the grosset". I don't see figurs such as Kevin Spacey, Roman Polanski and Bill Cosby running rampant in the gaming industry. If you think that "tech bros" is the worst that has happen, then it is nothing.
For the record, Bob hate boner for Tech bros is because bob in a million years, will never make a video game that people will play. "tech bros" such as Notche will be leave a bigger mark on the industry then Bob will ever do.

If Bob did make a game, WE would be the only ones playing it. To laugh at it.

Oh, I wish he'd take time out from Twitter and capeshit reviews to make a horrible TWINE game about putting us Mayonnaise Ghouls in camps.

100% Bob has done something during his career that would be considered sexual harassment and get him kicked out of the industry.
The definition is so loose and Bob projects so hard that it's impossible for him not to have at least creepily hit on a girl who wasn't interested, if not sent an unsolicited photo of his mushroom.

I can guarantee he hasn't sent anyone a dick pic. Only because I don't think he could reach his arms over his gut to get a phone or a camera down there.

This. Sometimes I wonder if people are aware of how much downer stuff there is out there when they declare something like the Mist an impressive twist.

Maybe we should see what those women are up to now...

That's literally why they made the selfie stick

It would still need a zoom lens.

My guesses, from left to right:

Finished her Women's Studies degree and now works at Target.

Substitute teacher. Mother of 3.

No longer has a penis.

Kiwi Farms shitposter.

Turning tricks for crack rocks.

Returned to her native tribe.

Finished High School as Salutatorian and was once employee of the month at Albertsons.

This. Sometimes I wonder if people are aware of how much downer stuff there is out there when they declare something like the Mist an impressive twist.

Is this the actual last time Bob was close to a woman? I feel like ranting on twitter and being an indignant blubber nugget, doesn't leave much time to meet people. Granted, with Bob's current personality, finances, looks he'd be better off finding love at a whale watch then a singles bar.

He got a pic with Nostalgia Chick at the last pax. So depending on how drunk she was at the time, there's at least a 50/50 chance she tried to give him a handy in the green room but failed when he couldn't get it up.
