Saw this in the sjw art thread and decided to redraw one of the girls
It's a rough sketch, I'll probably ink it and colour it in tomorrow. But basically I took away the god awful tumblr proportions and took extra care to add detail to her chest just to cause more triggering. Might do the other girl in the picture too at some point as well.

The last one was indeed the one I saw.
And here I thought that style was confined to Tumblr. Then again, the same thing could've been said about "CalArts" awhile back.

ditto, dude above, but i redesigned both!
These two don't have horrendous designs to begin with, but the style they "blessed" these poor girls with is a Frankenstein. Nothing fits together, everything sticks out like a sore thumb, and I'm willing to bet money that they didn't care enough to actually draw any of it themselves. Personally, I really like the idea behind the girl on the left, her outfit is pretty cute and her color palette was going down the right path. Where they majorly fucked up was her hair, which has a nasty amount of unnecessary detail.
I made them both skinnier, especially the girl on the left; they were near-morbid obese in the beginning. I left the one on the right pretty thick, since the artist seemed to be going for "complimentary opposites" (see: marina and pearl) but failed since neither look appealing and they both have the same body type. I also hue-shifted Left's skin tone a bit, it was suffering from "no matter where black person is they'll look as dark as possible" syndrome. I left the background alone because it looked like it was drawn in mspaint and i was too lazy to grace it with a redraw.
Another thing i don't hate is the outfits, though the lace doesn't fit within a simplistic game nor a simplistic artstyle. I like that left's skirt is short and right's is long, I like the colors, and I approve of Right's crop top because it's paired with a high waisted skirt, thusly concealing back fat.
Dunno why artist decided to leave the hearts off Whitey's cheeks. It seems like a nice matching characteristic they could share without looking too similar.
I'm into the idea of "sleek cool sexy" on the left and "light bubbly cute" on the right.

This pic was posted in the Tearzah thread and I felt a semi-strong urge to make a sloppy edit of it.
I tried to keep it as close to their aesthetic as possible while also making this dude look like, you know, a dude. All I'm saying is that Tea needs to learn how to learn how to draw hair that doesn't look like a vague orb with curly strands sticking out of it.
He still looks like a young, hot man as opposed to a dad but what can ya do?
