I always prefer wheelchair cosplayers that use their wheelchair to their advantage and integrate it into the cosplay.

I saw a Speed Racer cosplayer in a wheelchair who decked his chair out like the Mach-1. And the year my best friend got hit by a van and was heavily reliant on a wheelchair because he was unable to walk long distances, he dressed up in a low-effort House cosplay, complete with cane and Vicodin.

And then there's this kid.

What's funny to me about this is that my friend's job got transferred to an area where all the workers who do customer service are black. Based on the stories I'd get from my friend, all the clients were angry at the new workers because they all have attitudes, talk back to the clients, say "fuck you" to them and even hang up on the people who call in and are customers to the company. It's so bad that my friend usually had to talk to the customers who'd get treated badly by the new workers. This happens every day. Someone called my friend and said that they or their wife got cussed out or got hung up on when they're trying to call to get information.
This isn't even a trope. It's true and happens.

About the wheelchair girl cosplaying poison ivy she could have just said "that made me uncomfortable and i think other people in wheelchairs think so as well" but instead she had to make a drawing and be all "i'm not your inspiration porn!!!!!! don't pity me!!!"

Any disabled/spoonie tumblrites (fake or not) will use just any oppprtunity to allege ableism. They confuse pity with "maybe I wouldn't want to lose function of my legs".

At one of my old jobs, one of my black co-workers, who was known for being very polite, came to me with concern when my youngest sister (who is white) came in and apparently "acted rude" to her, and I had to apologize and explain that my sister wasn't being rude, that's just the way she talks. When I confronted my sister about it, she had no idea how she acted could possibly come across as rude.

IDK, some people just come off as rude without meaning to and if you're working in customer service, it's very easy to sound rude because customer service is terrible.

Anti-psychotics are, indeed, powerful drugs that have really shitty side effects, which is why a lot of people stop taking them, but...I'm getting the feeling that he is actually psychotic. Autistic people might be paranoid due to their inability to comprehend social norms, but this guy is on a different level. I feel bad for everyone involved.

Holy shit I just went to his blog to read the whole thing. He really thinks people hate him because he's autistic and thinks people want to lock him up in a psych ward instead of them just being rightfully worried about him. He admits he's paranoid but doesn't notice all of this is his paranoia acting up.

And yeah I believe he might be psychotic as well, i've been thinking about it for a while and it just seems like it. The paranoia, irrational fear, thinking everyone hates and is agaisnt him, thinking he isn't psychotic when people around him seem to think he is, thinking only himself is the high ground/sane person that has to try salve the world of bigots/ableist people.

I definetely wanted to see his neighbours side of the story as well. I remember he sent a letter to one of them explaning why using retard or autist is ableist lol like does this count as harassment or something?

This guy seriously needs help. Since he said he isn't going to take his meds he's probably going to end up in a psych ward anyway, or become a school shooter.
