Something never felt right about them, along with that "too good to be true" itch at the back of my head, never expected it to be this bad

Why would anybody trust anything shilled by a Youtuber other than Pewdiepie?

Pewdiepie proves yet again that he is actually the most mature person on Youtube. Here's Pediepie's full video on the matter.

All of these kids think they're special and now think they're sociopaths because they're kids with kid tendencies. I've always dreamed for the day when something would kick in the door of the big Youtube cliques and here it is.

“You have only to kick in the door and the whole rotten structure will come crashing down.”

I hope Pewdiepie does it. It would be great revenge since all those other YouTubers basically denounced him through his media fights.

I really wonder if Defranco would ever make a video to actually discuss this issue. Unless some spergs on Reddit make a big shitshow to attract his general audience's attention, he probably will keep shilling for them.

He would never make a video on something that makes him look like a "shit person" that "exploits kids".

His bread and butter is targeting such people afterall.

I'll be honest and say I'm not sure just how many of these people actually knew what the fuck they were signing up to advertise. A lot of YouTubers are funded by shit like this and are likely to take up almost any product willing to fund their endeavors. I'm gonna give a decent amount the benefit of the doubt. Some of them, however, are quite possibly in on this scam, but I'll wait to crucify anyone for actually being a part of it aside from being played with like a puppet because they want to be able to put food on the table.

So they're irresponsible people that put their child audience at risk? Yeah... not much better all things considered.

I'd put money on these guys pretending to use the service and haphazardly taking the huge payouts that they're almost certainly getting.

Damn! I used to know half of these YouTubers OP listed. I'm so disappoint to Philip D. And Boogie I'm not surprised since he supported Alex Jones getting ban. But he's no better than him by supporting this scam. What a world these big YouTubers had gotten themselves into.

Boogie has been caught up in several scandals before this. TotalBiscuit basically called him out for taking money/handouts for positive reviews for dogshit WarnerBro games. Shadow of Mordor, etc.

Philly D has had many scandals before... too many list. I also can't remember them because I'm basically an A-log that can't stand him.

Shane Dawson was crying on Twitter earlier today because people are being mean to him. Oh poor you, Shane. This is what happens when you play psychologist.

Kinda funny that Shane is doing a fake emotional appeal to maintain his core audience. Kinda seems like a thing a sociopath would do. Hopefully he gets a thread when the door gets kicked in.

If you want to guarantee I never buy your product, advertise it through Youtubers.

That chair looks kinda cool though.

I don't think this is even a moral thing anymore, it's just what I expect nowadays with the pre-determined idea that if you make money on youtube, you obviously weren't bright enough for a good paying, satisfying job in the real world. So of course you're slow enough to encourage 12 year olds' to give their personal information to a disgusting company.

Eh to be honest I think the expectation that these people, who are no better educated than the average Hollywood actor (High School) are going to deep dive into the lore to figure out which people that want to give them a fairly meager amount of cash to promote their bs company are full of it is a bit much in most cases. The only reason this one gets me is because it's about mental health.

Sarah Fader a contributor on huffingtonpost wrote an article under the title "How Do You Know If Your Therapist Is Helping You?", near the end of the article she states "Check out the BetterHelp Advice section to learn more about different types of therapy and find one that works for you!", no information is given if it was a paid promotion however if you look at the website she is CEO at the resources page you get "BetterHelp is the largest e-counseling platform worldwide, and we’re excited to see that it’s already making such a great impact. However, we are still just at the very beginning of this long journey. I invite you to join our mission – as a counselor, as a team member or as someone who may use some help to live better.", the use of we gives the impression she has a relationship with the company and googling her name with better help also brings this page up.

edit: she has way more huffingtonpost articles which do the same thing, some of them where every link goes to the betterhelp website

I mean, that's implying you NEED to give them money at all to make videos, in which case, why the fuck do they even bother?

What are you talking about? Content creators that do it full time have to eat or they won't... do it. I'm not defending the "YouTuber Lifestyle" which is hilarious and pathetic (the best ones admit this) but that's their bread and butter.

"Sarah is a native New Yorker who enjoys naps, talking to strangers, and caring for her two small humans and two average-sized cats. Like six million other Americans, Sarah lives with Bipolar type II, OCD ADHD, and PTSD. Through Stigma Fighters, Sarah hopes to change the world, one mental health stigma at a time."

Man, I love it when someone starts by talking about their kids and animals when you meet them, and 2 seconds later you find out they're a nutball who wants to wear a sign that says, "HEY, HEY! IM SPECIAL, LOOK AT ME, I GOT PROBLEMS"

It's great it lets you know "hey I'm crazy avoid me" long before you get invested in any relationship friendship or more.

Like Jim always says... Give it some time. I for one cannot wait to see exactly how much autistic shit is dug up from this and just how deep this hole goes.

Also crying "I'm so sowy. I had NO IDEA it was a scam :(" videos when?

I'm betting the big youtubers are gonna hold out as long as possible to get as much of that sweet sweet cash they can. Then post their damage control videos and move on to the next scam.

They probably made the huge guys sign year long contracts. They'll probably not be retarded like Candid and waive their ability to keep people silent.

Why are so many newbies that apparently have hate boners for YT coming into this thread? Just because it was featured? We get it, you don't like the idea that someone wanted to be an entertainer. It's not a real job. They aren't breaking bricks all day like you probably don't do. Now shut up. The real story is this healthcare scam.

Does anybody know whether or not Shane was offered this promotion before he started working on his latest series? How far back does this organisation go with youtubers?

I don't remember seeing that as his promotion before the Jeffree Star videos. As for the Jeffree Star and ones before Jake Paul, I can't say since those are unwatchable for me.
