Interview from 2017 with The founder of better help Alon huffing his own farts and being asked alot of questions while giving elusive answers , the videos behind a paywall , but there is a full transcript in the middle of the page.

So you were paying millions of dollars for Google ad space then you went to Google and made a deal ......I see.

I swear every other week there's a new company being exposed for data mining it's customer base. I wonder how many time's this is going to happen before people start considering this shit when talking to random strangers on the internet/giving them their CC info.

The trouble is most people don't value their data, or don't see how it can be used to manipulate them and other people.
Google has been stealing every shred of data they can find for over a decade and still hardly anyone cares.
Facebook only got into trouble for it because they flew too close to the sun--potentially meddling with an election is something even boomers can wrap their heads around. And even then everyone just moved to Instagram, a different platform run by the same goddamn people, because this time it'll be better, right?

I hope Phillip DeFranco gets the shit he deserves for selling this trash.
He is exploiting depression and people needing genuine health care by promoting a scam service that fucks the users with bullshit subscriptions, unqualified help from non medical staff and zero safety and privacy guarantees.

He knows what BetterHelp is. He is now pulling the "oh, i contacted betterhelp and demanded some explanations regarding the recent controversy surrounding their service bla bla bla i'm a victim here people! I DIDN'T KNOW! *sad face emoticon"

I was listening to the Killstream, I'm at 2:53:00 when Boogie and Jim are talking about the security of the written conversations between the Therapist™ and the client on that platform. I have a question for the people here who know about online security stuff: since one of their websites got hacked a year or two ago, what are the chances (or risk) of this happening again and doing way more damages?

I can believe that Boogie was too stupid to look into it and then got lucky and got paired with a competent person, but DeFranco making bank off this shady company by roping in his "youtube friends" is insane. I can't wait for this to blow up and see him back-peddle.

It's only cringe if people, especially those who Jim doesn't like nor care for, are going on and on about how he needs to make a video on a specific person or topic. It's just like how Fake Ross kept pushing for Jim to talk about the alt-right, or the Skeptics wanting Jim to cover JF.

I totally think that this is a topic worth covering, especially as he's covered similar topics in the past.* And he's clearly interested in this topic with how he was talking to Boogie last night. But because of the furry leaks, along with a lot of other videos lined up, it's kind of hard for him to keep shifting gears so quickly.
