i have a feeling phil likes wrestling because it's big, manly, and macho.
it doesn't have girly spooky moments where characters are scared, or have girly feelings.
and the plots are simple and safe, and don't require much thinking (so he doesn't get lost while drinking gin)

It was so goddamn funny to watch him fail at exactly the same he failed at on the previous WWE game. Like, a significant chunk of the mechanics were the exact same, and he still fucked it up. I saw one person, who I know has tipped Phil multiple times (Prank Black), in chat telling him he sucked at the game. Legit fans were telling him he was flat out terrible.

he is clutching so hard to get 300 viewers he needs 300 to make bank, Tevin is at 1k LOL, still wonder what the game is.

"No negative effect", because he lied and went bottom to the barrel to get a shitty sponsored stream for total of $100. After the Devs figure out who he is, they tried everything to stop him to no avail.

I like to think that the complaints of the devs led to Dave being blacklisted for sponsored streams and thus he wasn't able to participate in any more for the last 2 months.

Tervin not restreaming Dave might account for some of it, but the other day-one streams he didn't bother restreaming, weren't really that much over his average viewcount. Also, wrestling is like catnip for the autists in the Dave-sphere, finger-sniffer or true & honest fan alike.

Phil likes wrestling because it has big, hairy, sweaty men grappling each other and that's his only release for his closeted homosexuality.

For being the pigroach. Phil has not earned his place because he does anything right, but because he's an outstandingly awful person and hilarious for all the wrong reasons. All he has to do is being himself and keep on the drama he loves so much. There will always be a percentage of special individuals who he can convince to join his club of autism.

This is a cruel organic growth, but at least the numbers move. I know streamers who are stuck to under 20 viewers for years. The worst thing he can do is being a nice, normal, boring person. Of course this is not what Dave ment when he talked about organic growth.

So I’m incredibly bored at work and pretty far into dragon quest, figured it would be time to take a look at how horrible dave buchtered this amazing game.

Does nothing but talk/sing through the entire intro....two and a half minutes of him just making useless noise. Then at the end he says “that’s how you do a game intro” and all I could think was how he showed not to do a video intro.

Probably one of his most infuriating qualities to me, he never shuts up at inappropriate times, and I know that’s nothing new to anyone here. He’s the kinda person that has to always one up what’s happening around him by making pointless comments that he thinks are insightful or intelligent or entertaining.

It’s one thing to make a comment on something or say I like this about it, but to do it for 2 whole minutes notstop is so infuriating, it’s like he can’t allow this(or any) game to just be the focus for any amount of time, he’s gotta shove his way into the center of attention like a fucking child, he’s literally attention starved. He can’t just let the intro play or take in the music, this mother fucker has to jump in and sing along, cause this is his steam you stoopid ass game, and don’t you forget it.

Im convinced now his constant need to talk over and sing over story cutscenes in games is his massive ego going off and making him worry the viewers are more interested in the actul game than him at some point, and he can’t have that.
