HP Lovecraft is the most documented human being to ever live; he kept extensive diaries and a copy of every letter he either sent or received. He was also a xenophobe in the clinical sense; he had an actual, pathological fear of anything that was excessively "foreign" to him. He does mention that he played up certain aspects of this in his work, but he left his wife (who by all records he had great affection for, even if his neuroses made physical attraction to women a mostly closed book to him) after they moved to New York because the sheer number of immigrants and the diverse array of unfamiliar cultures literally drove him to a nervous breakdown.

I'm pretty sure the same logic is being used here that hardcore Commies use to categorize all labor under Capitalism as slavery; "sure, you might choose to work job X, but only because if you don't work you'd starve!"
Nevermind that every major Communist organization has always had "he who does not work, does not eat" as a core tentpole in their organization.

Everyone is expected to work and not working isn't just not rewarded, it's treated as a form of criminality. Anyone without a job will be expected to get one, and the state creates a lot of bullshit sinecures like museums that nobody even goes to that don't really require much work at all, but someone who just sits around at home is going to be rounded up and sent to a camp. Or just flat out shot.

This was posted a while back but I just tried it again and nope, it's still a shitshow:
-you cannot view any page other than the ban page
-you can't access your messages, check your profile, or contact anyone
-attempting to open submenus on the same page will open a tab that just repeats the ban message at you
-you cannot logout
