Eh, if people want to interpret a character a certain way because they relate to them, I don't have any issues with it. It's just a person feeling a connection with a fictional character.

When said person tries to force said "headcanon" onto other people and be a douchbag about how THEIR interpretation of said character is the only true one and how dare others see the character differently....yeah, that's when I have an issue with it.

Is it SJW stuff when a person is arguing for a PONY'S rights? Like, not real ponies, not even the MLP characters, but the physical plastic toys that Hasbro sells?

Because I stumbled across a potential lolcow who is screaming about how the pony modding community are a bunch of butchers who hack up MLPs and 'treat them like meat' and MLP figures have rights and they're standing up for them? It's pretty out there. For what it's worth she does identify as ponykin.

The ponykin part may help since there are SJW's that are otherkin or at least have pronoun's that refer to dragons or elves and such.

The way I see it (and I apologize if any of this is unclear or worded poorly), there's institutionalized racism and there's individual racism. That's why we have the term "institutional racism". You can't just take a highly specific usage of a word and say that it now invalidates every other aspect of the word just because it fits your rhetoric better that way.

Right now I'm just trying to research and work out if they're sincere, if they have a tumblr, that sort of thing.

Pretty sure a ponykin who identifies specifically with plastic pony figurines has a tumblr out there.

This is a total Poe's Law situation. Short of mind reading there's no way to know if that person is being serious or just saying the most ridiculous stuff they can think of as a parody or for attention.
