Trashfire The BetterHelp, CreatorHealth, InfluenceLogic Rabbit Hole - Candid 2.0, brought to you by Joel Robbinson

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Why are all of these youtubers actual babies that can't own up to their shit and move on?
Because their value as entertainers is being perceived as authentic. And they convince themselves it's true so they're vain about criticism.

Then he claims anyone who sees something wrong with YouTubers getting a $200 bounty from this mess is a cynical troll contributing to the toxicity of YouTube, and says they deserve that bounty by comparing themselves to people who work with cancer nonprofits (because they're shilling a shady as hell mental health service without doing any homework).
Ethan really confirmed the $200 figure? Nobody is going to pay out $200 a pop (!!) and let you turn around and shit talk the product. Who knows what kind of contracts they signed, but often they're really broadly worded and stipulate stuff you can't say or do. Lol actually thinking about boogie not getting his paycheck for selling out would be pretty funny.

Well Mumkey Jones brought more attention to it:

Mumkey's video shows a pretty interesting side to this.

This site basically promises some anonymity but you gotta spill all your private information after paying the 260 dollars.

another fat turd has made a video on this

edit: just found another kid they got to shill it, got to be some laws against that

Shame we're not allowed to have a thread on RTUSA.

I like his exceptional logic that Phil DeFranco wouldn't be part of a scam like this because "why would he do all this for 1 million dollars?" I don't know, he could be greedy? Why the fuck did Michael Vick run dog fights when he was worth millions of dollars and had a good life? Why the fuck would Bill Cosby rape dozens of women? Because they thought they could get away with it you fucking tard.

"Why would someone rob someone else when that's illegal and they might go to jail?"

Autism alert! :autism:
Pewdiepie is in the top 25% on the tubes, which fits perfectly into the theory of "Pareto Distributions". He is not some dumbfuck low IQ nimwit. A dumbfuck can't maintain such a position even if he was propelled into relevancy due to some incident (MundaneMatt, Sargon, ASMR Thots etc.)

So what do we have here, he was able to do a slight bit of digging and discovered the sketchiness of this service. Phillip D and the 99% Ashkenazi Jew H3H3 himself, both in the 25% bracket, both obviously not dumb, fell for it. This lands us on 3 reasons:
1. Shekels too good, who cares about everything else?
2. They didn't see the full picture and got wooed by their agent
3. Combination of both

Now, Phillip D is quadrupling down with countless lies, H3H3 is doing his typical Jew pilpilling. This only leaves reason 1 to be valid. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and slap 2 in as well; this however no longer applies since they are able to see the full picture and have been informed.

tldr: pewd, H3, Phillip D all not dumb. Pewd looked into it and saw the sketchy nature of it, latter 2 could, but shekels.

I don't see them being babies, I see them trying to damage control the job they were paid to do, which was shill for betterhelp. They are in too deep now, they took the money, and I'd think if you were some smaller youtuber, you'd not want to flip on PhillyD, otherwise no one will collab or play ball with you ever again.

Drumr828's videos suck. He plays out entire clips in his videos, and doesn't offer any new information or insight with his commentary. He's just regurgitating the shit other people have said, yet those people are far more interesting and informative. I appreciate that he was one of the few channels to originally talk about this story before it got big, but he really needs to step it up.

So DeFranco has severed his relationship but he's still going to keep the cash he made. And his reputation.

And his 'independent journalist' at notorious shill site Polygon unsurprisingly gave BetterHelp/DeFranco a clean bill of health.

http://archive.is/CSGc3
Even with multiple YouTube creators working with BetterHelp sponsorships, some through their own accord and others through DeFranco’s Rogue Rocket, Matas sees it as an insular issue within an ecosystem that he doesn’t particularly understand.

“We’re not part of the YouTube sphere, and we were caught up in a drama that, for the most part, had nothing to do with us,” Matas said. “It was a fight that started before us, and we were used as a tool.”

He also spoke to many creators and fans calling out YouTube influencers who use BetterHelp as a sponsor, but never really spoke about mental health concerns on their channel, like Heath Hussain of Vlog Squad. Matas said the company tries to partner with creators who have spoken about mental health in the past.

“They talk about these topics and that’s what we want,” Matas said. “We don’t want the people who typically don’t share the mission. So they’ve been open about it, now they’re all talking about the problem, but the solution, and I think that’s a good thing.”

It’s also something that came up with DeFranco, who said that, although he couldn’t speak to why certain YouTubers decided to partner with BetterHelp for a sponsorship, he believed many did so in good faith.

“I think that people saw it as a possible entry point as a kind of a thing that they’re going through, and maybe in their mind this kind of just matched up into it,” DeFranco said. “But that would be me guessing as far as why people were integrating it.”

Still, DeFranco is taking allegations against the company, and his promotion of the service, seriously. He flew out to San Jose to meet with Matas and go over some of the most pressing topics. DeFranco told Polygon this wasn’t to clear his name, but to better understand exactly what BetterHelp was doing and decide his next steps.

“I can’t control how people react,” DeFranco said. “I can try and do is try to find out what is actually happening and you know, see if there is legitimacy behind claims and figure things out.”

Update: Philip DeFranco issued a statement late this afternoon, confirming that he and his company Rogue Rocket are cutting ties with BetterHelp.

“This is not based on anything that came from the meeting,” DeFranco tweeted, addressing a recent trip to BetterHelp’s offices, “but from a place of understanding that that part of the community does not feel it’s appropriate to have sponsorship with a company in the mental health space.”

So nothing at all was wrong with BetterHelp but DeFranco decided to cut ties to show how extra honest he is.

Like I said, he's a slippery PR pro.

Edit : Oddly enough Boogie is an even better PR pro.

Lots of people asking me about this whole better help situation so I thought I should include it in this video. For those of you who are curious and don't want to watch the whole video:
1) I saw it advertised by defranco
2) signed up and used the service
3) liked the service so asked my brand manager to reach out for me
4) started selling the service believing it to be a good one
5) found out about their terms of services and other issues
6) dropped them as a sponsor
7) donating all my profits to the suicide prevention charity as well as st judes
8 ) this apology video

St Judes eh? The same charity Ralph did the Healstream on. Boogie also called into Ralph's show when they invaded his stream and then wrecked Vee to the amusement of Metokur, Ralph, Zidane and the Gator.

Boogie you clever bastard.

Knew this would happen, didn't even ask about the fake reviews, using kids to market the ads, selling the data, how 14 people get vet 3000 people, why they keep signing people up if they don't have the people to meet the demand if what they say is true, and many other things.

He knows they are shit company thus why he is walking away but he is unwilling to admit he fucked.

Also would have been nice if they asked about any of the complains in this article
https://www.apa.org/monitor/2017/02/online-therapy.aspx

" Shawna Kirby, PhD, decided to part ways with an online therapy company she worked for in 2015. After several months as a contracted therapist, she terminated the agreement, due to a series of ethical concerns she had over how the company dealt with interjurisdictional practice issues, consumer privacy, informed consent and therapy termination. When she brought her concerns to the company's clinical director and owners, none of whom are psychologists, she says they brushed off her concerns, and then eventually blocked her from messaging with her clients. "It all seemed more financially driven, rather than care driven,"

While not surprising it is a shame that the polygon writer didn't do the basic research beforehand , because she could have asked some real hard questions which betterhelp and defranco would have been fucked over.

Polygon's whole business model is that if you're a 'New Media influencer' type like Shilly D and you need an 'independent journalist' to turn your press release into an article, one of their bloggers will do it for you. No doubt for a fee.
