I doubt this is it due to his repeated claims of it being completely and utterly impossible for him to hang a near paper thin green coloured sheet between his loveseat and the wall. It simply cannot be done! While moaning about the chore of going out to get and then put up Halloween decorations, it was brought up in his chat that he if he hung his green screen up, h'd not have to do any of this AND could change his 'decoration' everyday for free. Nope, nope, nope! Akin to hanging a sheet in front of his window to block the glare during his 10 year naval gazing stream, it is impossible for him to hang up his green screen behind his loveseat. You and ALL the folks asking him to do this aren't 'Professional Streamers' and don't understand that even though Millions of other streamers somehow manage to do this, they aren't Dave.

What kind of suggestion is that? Pretty soon he’s gonna be whoring out his meals for his whales.

Do not misunderstand, fans would still be required to meet the Twitch Sub goal for Halloween decorations on the green screen. He'd would after all be forced to take an entire stream off to find images for it. He is far to busy to do anything like this after he clocks out. There simply aren't enough hours in the day. Plus, he'd need Patreon donors of $5+ to submit images of the proper size and resolution they find for him to use. That's a lot of work!

Didn't it take a couple hours for our valedictorian hero to set the green screen up in his garage? He's just too busy to fit that into the schedule.

Also I wonder if he thinks he has to use those big lights to get the green screen to work. I get that there isn't room in the office to set up those huge lights plus it would probably get hot and make performing his work more difficult.

More animal fun facts!

Tevin was watching DSP play some basketball game and Dave's team was the University of Connecticut, aka UConn. Their team mascot is a husky.

Dave has no idea why their mascot is a husky because huskies are not a native species to Connecticut. He knows because he used to live in Connecticut before moving to Washington state.

I find this interesting because

1. DSP thinks dogs are wild animals and different breeds have natural habitats are not bred for specific purposes and

2. Dave does not understand the play on words of UConn and Yukon

that would be surprising, i would actually enjoy it, to see phil actually do something that takes a little effort and learning. i would say good, good for him. keep it up
but he probably wont, and at the end of the day hell be back to beggings and bitching like usual

We're knee deep in crazy rants today, including one about Saudi Arabia and the WWE. I guess politics are fine as long as it is framed around wrestling? And also lots about game devs needing to unionize to preserve their human rights.

But Tut was back today and gifted a Tier 3 sub to someone. Every time he does, chat briefly notes that they thought Tut was a detractor now, while Phil doesn't respond. This is one of his most blatant ever memory-holes, and it's clear he is going out of his way to not acknowledge or mention anything that was previously said about Tut. It's bizarre.

I don't know what's more pathetic - that Phil denounced and banned Tut just for talking to Theo and implying that he was financially comfortable, or that he quietly unbanned him because he is so greedy he puts little stock in his own words or supposed convictions. But as usual, he picks the worst possible combination of actions.

I haven’t looked at this thread in about a month. Do we know if Phil is going to derp his way through Soul Calibur 6? I can’t find much of anything from him in 5. What character do people think he’d use and why?

Phil said he would play it when it comes out.

As far as what character he will pick, I don't think it will matter. Just like every other game DSP plays, he will say the game sucks, the online sucks, the characters suck, the moves don't work, the developers suck, and the audience sucks for telling him to play a piece of garbage.

From what I gather, the lights and green screen go hand in hand.

I've seen another streamer start messing with a green screen and lights, and it seems like a pain if you don't have the aptitude for it.

Tevin would wear sunglasses just so he could see, and then turn off his facecam altogether when the lights made it too hot to bother.

I'm sure Phil isn't aware of anything past the little manual labour of sitting it up, though.

learn one character, learn some half assed combo. and rinse and repeat that combo till he bitches about the game and quits.
