I'm seriously not sure of Mcdonalds would even take him. Yes any idiot do the work there. But jobs are very scarce and many people need them so he isnt doing them any favors. A guy in his mid 30's who has had only one legit job for 2.5 months. (being a clerk and handing out popcorn at some down piece of shit movie theater isnt looked at as a great resume booster.

Current job market is pretty competitive. He has no real skills besides shit online so would be useless in the kitchen. Hes admitted on a stream before he cant make shit. There will be people who have had past jobs at Walmart etc that are looking for a 2nd job, even is its just from another burger flipper its at least legit work within the last 15 years. Or high school kids (or earlier years in college) who are looking for their first ever job. Both of those cases will get the job 100000x before a guy who has had 1 semi legit job in the last 15 years (or more)

(Again all this assuming that he tries for mcdonalds or fast food cause a legit job has 0% chance) And obviously bigger and better companies wouldnt take him either, im just stating how I dont think Mcdonalds would/

I really do believe that in his mind he thinks he is above working at fast food. He thinks he is a genius. And he makes great content. Even with needing money bad for his kid, and his girl needing some real help, he would sell the house and pawn his little exceptional trinkets before he worked a job like that. I even remember a real good bit ago when streaming, he was asked a question (I forget it now) but his reply was "Ha well yea in that case but ive been super smart sense birth and getting a job at star bucks would be a waste of time with what im trying to do, and honestly I would hate working a super easy job like that" It was something very very similar to that. Now I would think most agree that working at star bucks isnt something all that difficult. But I do bet if Matt worked there he would give up, and not be able to keep up when they would get rushes

Nigga the fuck are you talking about? It isn't 2009, everyone who wants a job has one. Like 2 weeks ago the retail industry was losing their shit because they can't possibly find 800,000 people to fill the vital seasonal jobs for packing, delivering, and selling holiday shit. Just wait until the 2020 census if the economy is still booming like this, even the federal government will have significant issues finding people for the cushy census jobs.

This is kinda like Totalbiscuit swearing up until his last days that he was gonna beat the cancer and continuing to review games instead of spending time with his family.
Matt needs to take a lesson here that he's fighting the inevitable and start looking for a job instead of uploading a half dozen unwatchable videos a day that most people only click on to dislike out of spite.

I find American companies bitch they cannot find people at the shitty pay they offer. I am often amazed at the utterly terrible offers US headhunters will offer me.

At any point in time I can point to at least 100 jobs in a 10mi radius that will offer walkons at least $45k + benefits here. That doesn't include the thousands of entry level retail jobs. If you have even a modicum of experience or a technical school diploma you're a shoe in for some serious cash. The unemployment rate is 3.7% which basically means that the labor pool is tapped. Everyone who wants a job has one.
