You know when an established town or village has a Homeowner's Association that just absolutely has to make shit worse for everyone else? Like they'll claim a nearby public beach is theirs and no matter how many times they're rebuked by the town, they keep calling the cops on kids who go there, or they'll start bitching that the Fire Department's sirens are too loud so they try to push for a zoning ordnance that forbids the fire department from using said sirens? Usually these groups are so profoundly hated by everyone else that when the inevitable happens and some problem occurs, you can't help but wonder if emergency services were struggling to not laugh at irony running its course.

ResetERA is basically that Homeowner's Association in forum format.

I believe you can't advocate for piracy on the board, but I've certainly seen people take the stance that they are morally correct to pirate the game.

Which is bullshit. Pirate the game, but you don't get the moral high ground for doing so. You want to be smug and sanctimonious, you have to properly boycott it and not even play it. Otherwise you're just using bullshit relativistic morality to justify why you can steal (or, well, 'steal') but it's OK because you don't like your target.

You're not fucking Robin Hood if you pirate a GOG/CDPR game.

If they are on Team Soros, they're doing it for free. I've seen some retarded grants but nobody could explain ResetEra posting as "spin control in digital media." Especially when you're not really spreading globalism or causing civil unrest & are just too cowardly to post in the same space as a walking, talking Family Guy gag.

Maybe we can get a return to historical GTAs like London, Vice City, and San Andreas. Or even go back to sci-fi like GTA2.

I think that DRM post, by a mod no less, is something IMC or someone might pick up on. If it gets outside attention they may pull it, and caps are deniable. We just had their mods wiping up evidence of their GOG "doxing."

Funny thing is, for the first six months it wasn't like that. You could say most things, civilly, and you'd be ok. After a while, it sort of devolved into this crazed shitfest we all know and love.

Wonder what happened. Did the troons take over. Problems with the cashflow, so they doubled down. Something else. Really weird. Unless they had a six month period where they just tried to ensnare people
