Came here to say this. Midland is just another scummy junk debt buyer that purchases debt for pennies and tries to collect.

According to their website, the accounts they buy have been delinquent in some way for at least 6 months.

Damn... so Chris haven't pay his bills for over 6 months.... Think of all the money he had received over that time. HE FUCKING WENT TO BRONYCON instead of paying his bills. Remember when people on this forum said Chris is more responsible financially than Barb.

What's funny is, these past six months have been his most consistently lucrative. He's had multiple $1000+ donations and some big ticket sales since May.

He may have paid less than the minimum due. That still counts as delinquency but a lot of people wrongly believe that as long as you're paying something creditors won't take any action.

Not 100% how sure Chris has settled his debts in the past, I assume he shit his pants and got a default judgement. Either that or settled for some smaller amount. Either way, once he's served, more e-begging incoming. I personally would like some videos where he expounds more on his CWCville prosperity gospel.
He and Barb regularly settle and/or make payment plans with their debtors.
@Marvin what's up with this? You said Chris can handle money, and for the most part I actually agree with you because he has always spent just enough on toys that he has enough food for the month.
Maybe he's been slipping recently.

Though I imagine this will end like the past lawsuits did, and how all of his criminal cases go: Chris will whine and make a payment plan with them and it'll go away for a period of time.

It would appear the real reason the Chandlers are having trouble buying food is because they put it lower in priority to their monthly spending binges. They still seem to aspire to live their debt-free lifestyle, despite the necessity to make some adjustments given their current financial predicament.

It sucks for them, but they're going to have to learn to scrape by to get out of debt or they're in real danger of getting everything they own repossessed.

Midland Funding is well known for getting liens put on houses or cars from courts to make you pay, so not good for Chris.
Pretty sure they can't put a lien on the house, that's already been mortgaged. And the cars are probably worth jack shit in their current condition. Maybe try putting a lien on the Funko Pops?

Jokes aside, Chris will probably end up in a "Don't lend money to this person" poster. Because his tard bucks can't be garnished by the court to repay debt owners, and he has nothing else of value that isn't already leveraged.

He can handle money, in that he is mentally capable of keeping track of bills and paying them on time.
I think the point is that if he's not paying his bills, it's not because he's too much of a tard to understand the process. He just made other choices.

Isn't his car on finance, meaning that it's already being used as security for the car loan? Nobody really wants to be second or third in line to take possession of an old car.

And Chris doesn't own the house, so liens on that only come into play with Barb's debts (and again, it's already security for the mortgage).

If Midland has acquired the debt, then Chris's credit record has already taken another hit, so there's not a lot they can threaten which would have meaningful consequences for Chris.

Good luck Midland. Chris has been playing the long con. He doesn't have the money, but he also doesn't have anything of value to take.

  • House is already mortgaged. Not his anyway.
  • Car is a piece of shit
  • Only steady income is neetbux that are untouchable
  • Majority of income spent on worthless plastic trinkets with no resale value
  • The first edition of Sonichu is unironically the most valuable thing he has, but only because if it went on ebay multiple drooling autists would get into a bidding war. I like to think Hirtes would win.
Chris is quite literally insulated from any negative consequences here. Any legalfags wanna correct me on this? If I understand everything correctly Chris should absolutely just ignore this. Sure his credit will be fucked, but its already fucked anyway.

I'd say the consequences are further down the line. He's existing solely on what he currently has, but in the future nobody will rent him an apartment or lease him a car. The only options would be a co-sign with good credit, and if somebody does that they're even dumber than Chris.

For shiggles I looked up if somebody on social security can declare bankruptcy, they can but it requires you have equity or income other than SSDI, so it's the same issue he's having now.

Plenty of people with appalling credit rent homes. He just won't have a great choice but his limited income would limit his choices anyway. And there are always predatory lenders when it comes to cars.

People can live on the financial edge for decades, and Chris has the advantage of people being willing to bail him out time after time.

Chris will never move out of 14 Branchland Court unless forced to anyway. And I seem to recall Null saying in the past that he would help make sure Chris didn't lose the house upon Barb's death if at all possible. So this may not be as big a problem as it seems at first glance.

Agreed on both, but let's face it, that's temporary at best. Chris will be evicted and his car will be repo'd. Landlords and companies like that don't make money on letting idiots slide.

Null is a madman if he'll buy out 14 BLC to keep a pet rètard.
