I want someone to make a video of DSP's early games rant but in the background of the video is all the tweets and videos and stuff of all the games he's gotten early and all the games he's gotten paid to play.
You know, like Assassins Creed Odyssey only two weeks ago. Funny how this wasn't a huge moral issue then when he was one of the people who could get paid to play it. It wasn't for Spider-Man either, till he learned he wasn't getting it early like he thought. Then it became an issue.

It's almost as if... it's not really a big moral issue for him... but that its more like he's jealous and bitter or something? HM.

Phil whining like a bitch about people getting games early is always hilarious. Almost as funny as when he got Fallout 4 early, or cheesed the Xbox Live system to get Dark Souls 3 early.

*Laughs in hypocrisy*
There are some doods who wrote, and I'm just paraphrasing here (cuz I'm too lazy to search the tweets again):

"It's called a different time zone. Of course there will be some people who stream it "earlier" than him because they got it in their assigned time zone"

"Game Stop closes earlier than midnight, so of course they give it out earlier. Phil could probably do the same."

I also got a game a day earlier because my market decided they sell it earlier. No shilling, no money spent for early access, nothing. Just a regular sell.
But I guess we are all criminal scum.

Edit: Also his skin is wet toilet paper, the one with just a single layer. Everything is an attack on him even when it has nothing to do with him. This guy is so full of himself, there is nothing much left but to laugh. I don't know if there even is a need to explain his wrongness, it's just that obvious. The more it amazes me how he has any genuine fan left. The stupid he shouts pokes right in the eye.

I'm going to take this down another path. What if people getting the games early isn't making him mad because he is jealous of not getting it too? What if DSP is just super autistic about time? Hear me out on this.

In the very beginning look at the merchandise DSP had for sale. T-shirts were completely reasonable. He could have made stickers or shot glasses or keychains. He had clocks with his logo on them.

He has to start and stop his streams at a certain time almost exactly. He has to. He has to take scheduled mandatory breaks. Other streamers can send out an alert at almost any time announcing an impromptu stream and people show up. DSP has to stream at the same time because any variance would break his brain.

Look at how often he talks about when he will be doing stuff. He has a giant calander where he schedules out his whole month. He posts his schedule on Twitter. In every pre stream he reads out the schedule. At the end of many streams he talks about his schedule. The schedule is very important, almost as important as telling people how to give him money.

When he was giving excuses for why Leanna couldn't work, he mentioned time and schedules several times. This was at a point where he wasn't streaming as much as he does now, but he claimed he couldn't drive Leanna to a job if she got one because of time. He said "their schedules have to interfere with each other as little as possible".

He has a strict meal schedule. Dinner has to be at a certain time every day. If he has to wake up his sick girlfriend to make sure it happens, the schedule must not be broken.

The infamous "some things are more important than money" quote was thought to be DSP being afraid of the influx of viewers. What if maintaining the schedule was what was so important?

Phil constantly talks about how he has no time. How even the simplest task requires so much planning and time management. I have to rush downstairs, get out a pot, fill the pot with water, boil the water, cook the pasta, etc.

Phil uses time as an excuse for doing or not doing things. We didn't have time for dinner so we went to Wendy's, I can't exercise after a certain time, I can't stream after a certain time, I can't go to bed until this time.

The boasting of his 10 year legacy. He mentioned his 10 year legacy almost every day in 2018 up to the "celebration" and still mentions it. He also boasted in an ask the king that he went to grade school for 8 years and how proud he was of that accomplishment. Despite every single child going to grade school for 8 years before high school.

And lastly, when he got Fallout 4 early he did not play it until the release day. He had the opportunity to play it and make videos to be ready for launch but refused to do that. Why?

phil seems to get super autism when it's helpful for his lazyness or allows him to wiggle his way out of something

doesn't give a shit about how sloppy and typo ridden his schedule is... but dismisses people their typos and the like.
he has a a set time and will not waste time play video games he loves for a minute more
when he pushes a button, he expects the same outcome, regardless of situation.
if someone points out "didn't you say X" he'll squirm until he finds a word he didn't use, then go LOL THAT WASNT WHAT I SED U WRONG LOL like it really matters.

What if DSP is just super autistic about time?

I have no idea how he isn't ADHD. Add in the rocking back and forth, the maddening attempts to schedule his shit, him losing his temper when things don't go his way, an inability to pay attention, a lack of spatial awareness, the non-stop talking about random shit, the drinking, the never cleaning up his house, the never trying anything new, impulsively saying/doing things without thinking, the need for instant gratification, the inability to adhere to rules, difficulty taking turns (no multiplayer), inability to hold down a job, and a big inability to manage personal finances, making promises and never keeping them (Patreon goals)

It's not because he's too stupid to improve things, he just has no control over what he can pay attention to. He's obviously developed some coping skills but has never clearly figured out what makes himself tick.

The perfect, perfect example is his prestream length. He has no fucking control over it.

Maybe its purely an environmental thing when someone isolates themselves so much and for so long, but he clearly has issues with all of these things.

The pig thinks he works harder then anyone else on the internet, doing what he does. To him people playing big, hyped up releases before him is take money/new viewers (THAT HE IS OWED FOR ALL HIS HARD WORK) away from him. How many fucking times have we had to listen to him talk about how entitled he is to live in a gated community house that he can't afford simply because, "he's earned it!".

Dave truly believes that he's a Blues Brother, on a mission from god, to be the one true gamer.

almost kind of like a child, except this child is very outspoken about stuff he knows nothing about and just like children. has no filter when it comes to insulting people.

and dont forget his goldfish memory

Still think he picked up most of his weirder quirks from his mother, and that she suffered from some sort of Histrionic Personality Disorder, and/or is bi-polar. Might have caused some issues with Dave growing up, as he seems sheltered by her (doesn't know basic home maintenance, lacking basic car knowledge for upkeep, seemingly not feeling comfortable with mowing lawns, etc).

On Phil calling his pre-streams "vlogs": No Phil, vlog means "video blog" and you're not on video while you've got your ridiculous fanart slideshow up. Also you should set the category to "Just Chatting" if you know you're just chatting for over an hour.

I don't want to watch Phil play RDR2... not just because it's a game I'll soon be playing for myself... but mostly because I don't want to see this idiot play it ineptly and disinterestedly. I don't want my first viewing of these scenes to have Phil over the top, scowling in silence, then doing his humorless "huhuh" after he's failed to think of anything funny to say.

To his credit, he did not have his whoreboard up though this may have been a calculated move to hide how low the stream 'interaction' was ( two $5 tips I believe with enough quarters tossed at him to make more than the $7.25/hr Federal minimum though I doubt he earned the $15.45/hr Seattle minimum wage rate).

The whoreboard was absolutely up, so no credit to him for that. And Phil got 3x $5 tips, 1x $4 tip that I saw, and apparently another $1 tip that I didn't see. So ~$20 in tips, in addition to $23.10 in cheers and $31.00 in subs. So about $74 for the stream, a pretty standard take for him.

Also his main gripe that he delivers in the most outraged fashion after he gets done with his Magic 8-ball of excuses for why he's terrible at video games is, "What a waste of time! What a complete fucking waste of my time!"

It's always seemed to me an extremely nonsensical statement in the cahntext he makes it, but an autistic set of self-imposed conditions makes some sense at least. He has a 3 hour block set aside every Sunday to 'pay his bills', as soon as he gets done streaming he doesn't touch a video game. . .like certain things are only allowed at certain times and he's only allowed to do 1 activity at a time, or knows he can't pay attention to more than 1 thing at a time. Like pre-stream is the time for talking, and during the gameplay he has to be silent unless goat-laughing or saying a 1 word reaction because he can't talk and play games, if it's a cutsceen he has to babble some ass-rape fan-fic over it.

I wonder if you ciould get him to spurg out by @'ing him and asking him about his stream-schedule during the middle of his stream because 'this isn't the time for that'?
:stress:

Edit: On the other hand I've speculated before that it's attention seeking behavior to exaggerate the difficulty of routine tasks so that people will be wow 'ed when you complete tasks, and artificial time constraints and exaggerating the amount of time tasks require is a way to do this. I don't think his mom liked him and he developed some of this attention seeking behavior young to try to get mother's attention.

This is actually a fantastic insight into Phil's current thinking - at no point does thirdeye accuse Phil of anything. His cheer is saying that the hard work, and quality of work, others do mean they're rewarded for this. Phil immediately equates this to be about him - how (he thinks) he works so hard, how (he thinks) what he does is better than everyone else, but because isn't given an early copy that those privileged to have it early must be shills.

Phil's hurt simply because he isn't considered for being given free big titles anymore. His ego simply cannot take it. He completely twisted thirdeye's comments around to make it about him when the cheer was about others and their hard work and efforts paying off.

Once again, DSP fails to see that he is the problem. Even if nobody on the planet got the game early and everyone had to start at the exact same time, DSP would have less than 500 viewers. Why? Because he is not a good streamer.

He doesn't interact with his chat like a normal sane person. During his stream he said he wouldn't have time to read people's cheers because he was too busy playing the game. He was not too busy to check his phone or to ban the trolls in chat.

He at one point said he didn't hear what a character said because he wasn't paying attention. If he isn't interested and invested in what is happening in the game, why would he expect his audience to be interested or invested in him?

He made the same "joke" about the 100 hour work week three times in a row. It was not funny any of the times. Why would someone shit on the game company for this? They probably had the workers work 100 hour work weeks so the game could get finished on time.

He complimented the visuals and said they were very cinematic and it was like watching a movie. Not long after he shit on the game for trying to be "artistic" and too much like a movie. Being negative just for the sake of being negative.

So in the end, who the most people watch is not who gets the game first. People watch streamers who are entertaining and fun. People who act like they are having fun. Not people who look like they hate life and shit on every little nit pick and act miserable.

I was thinking up a draft of what is essentially your post in my head when I saw what you wrote, but I wholeheartedly agree. Dave's early YouTube success (stumbling ass-backwards into discovering he could cheese YouTube's ad system by spamming gaming videos as early and as much as possible) has completely poisoned his mind. He truly believes that by virtue of just showing up, he is entitled to views and money. He demonstrates this time and time again and it is, in my opinion, the most maddening thing about this asshole. He does not understand that being a disgusting, rude, boring, uninterested, negative, unrepentant beggar is why his streaming 'business' is floundering. Phil wants to be a successful streamer in the same way someone who shows up to a marathon wants a participation ribbon.

My favorite example of this is definitely his Pokemon Sun/Moon playthrough where he literally scolds his viewers for not giving him money when he was doing hilarious voice acting and engaging commentary, dood.

I'm not ruling it out, but I honestly think his obsession with time is just his way of getting out of shit, an easily quantifiable way for him to prove he's actually done something with his """career""", etc.

He keeps to a strict schedule for streams because he legit does not enjoy being there, but has to be there because money. He can't stream any more than he has to because he's lazy as fuck and generally hates it unless he's getting a lot of free cash. He talks about the schedule and stuff because he's a narcissist and loves talking about himself. Same goes for "muh 10 year legacy". Loves to brag.

It's not out of the realm of possibility, but as far as it seems, it's just Phil being Phil AKA being a lazy dood who doesn't think long-term, brags hardcore, finds any excuse not to do something, and has to talk about any and all achievements to make it look like he's done well at life.

My favorite example of this is definitely his Pokemon Sun/Moon playthrough where he literally scolds his viewers for not giving him money when he was doing hilarious voice acting and engaging commentary, dood.

That example is especially LOL-worthy because his "voice acting" was literally just him reading the dialogue in his own voice for every character. It still amazes me to this day how his viewerbase didn't just plummet to zero after calling his fans lazy for not showing up.

It's not out of the realm of possibility, but as far as it seems, it's just Phil being Phil AKA being a lazy dood who doesn't think long-term, brags hardcore, finds any excuse not to do something, and has to talk about any and all achievements to make it look like he's done well at life.

The sad thing is that he's gonna be bragging about those meaningless achievements and think he's owed the world for them until the day he dies, and the only thing he'll actually be remembered for is the videos/tweets/forums etc of how much of an narcissistic asshole he is.

Phil is a miserable streamer who makes any game look like boring shit. Doesn't pay attention to what's going on with the story or the gameplay, shits on the developers, constantly makes jokes during cutscenes (especially during serious moments), sings over any music that comes up (happened with RDR 2 and he flat out said he did that to get around any potential copyright problems on YouTube), doesn't interact with his audience unless they pay up and will regularly whine to his audience when they're not giving him enough money. It's just so obvious he's not enjoying himself, which makes it impossible for any normal person watching his stream to enjoy themselves. Like you said, you watch any entertaining streamer and they can make even a shitty game enjoyable to watch by having a good time themselves and getting their audience involved. Phil's been streaming for years and he still doesn't get that, it's pitiful.
You forgot the biggest reason he fails nowadays; he tries cheesing it with a single move (no variety) and looks for guides and chat to avoid anything that might be too hard. Those makes his gameplay boring unless the game itself is demanding on reaction even with the other elements fixed in his favor. He financially ruins himself because in this case, his laziness amd ego beats out his greed.

My favorite example of this is definitely his Pokemon Sun/Moon playthrough where he literally scolds his viewers for not giving him money when he was doing hilarious voice acting and engaging commentary, dood.

That little clip I think is where his Process was most transparent at that time: "I'm running through the checklist of things viewers like seeing based on what the popular people are doing, where's my money?" - the only thing he forgot on that list was simply to also Be A Likeable Personality

But even since then it seems like Phil's slipped even further from that and isn't even putting in the effort for VAing or the likes, which is partly why I think his viewing has been so boring lately for everyone involved.
