Yup. "I love this show" claims man who says the show has been racist and offensive for 30 years. This is because he is a heavily americanized "Indian" man, trying to blend in and emulate that breathtaking mix of condescension and arrogance that think plays well with most (leftist) Americans, especially when it comes to race. Pretending that Indian people, and Apu, was tokenized like a black man all these years, when most Indian people (born and raised) have never had an issue with the character (and had found him endearing), makes him look like an exceptional individual who clearly is out of touch with the culture he uses as the only remarkable characteristic about him.
Can't speak for any Indian people, but last I've heard they had no real issues with Apu in general, quite the contrary, but it's become "problematic" for Americans now. I hope this fucker gets socially ostracized from true Indians.
