PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police from across the city of Pittsburgh are responding to an active shooting situation at the The Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill.

KDKA’s Andy Sheehan reports that at least seven people have been confirmed dead, possibly more.

Police have requested that residents stay inside their home as they have exchanged gun fire with a suspected gunman.

When officers arrived the gunman reportedly shot at them, forcing officers to use their vehicles as a shield.

Two police officers were reportedly shot.

The Synagogue was reportedly full of people for a Saturday service and police say they’ve received several calls from people barricaded inside the Synagogue.

Several people have been rescued, but police are still trying to rescue others.

Nearby Carnegie Mellon University was also reportedly on lockdown, students receiving texts telling them to stay inside.

Mayor Bill Peduto is rushing to the scene.

According to Michael Isenberg as interviewed by ABC13 live feed they do Regular active shooter drills and work with Homeland Security and the FBI in the past for such Drills. Inb4 Alex the water filter man goes full sandy hook.

This is one of the reasons why less hardcore Jews often choose to have a medical professional do it. Also, it wasn't mentioned if the baby was actually being circumcised during this bris, could have been done at a hospital or clinic and they did the celebration at the synagogue later, or the child could have been a girl. (Some places will do symbolic bris for girls.) The Tree of Life synagogue is a conservative synagogue, so it's a little in between Orthodox and Reform in hardcoreness. There are some conservative Jews who chose to have a doctor preform the circumcision, not at all uncommon.

I bet Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Google and other social sites are currently looking into updating their TOS and also updating their AI's code, along with more people looking into what to censor.
So, in a week, a month or sometime next year, expect content being removed with Anti Semitic content.
I also think certain Youtube vids and maybe whole channels will be removed, such as Metokur, Killstream, Sargon, Warski, JF, etc..I have a feeling any Alt-right content will be all gone.
Also expect pay services to get involved.

(Something Awful doesn't count, it's worse than reddit). It used to be fun to troll people but now you get banned, shadowbanned, and permabanned without much effort. That said, there's still an outside world where you can swim and run and go to the zoo, etc.

1) there is already plenty off antisemitic shit on youtube, twitter, facebook, ect. the social media companies don't seem to do jack shit about it unless it is big enough to make enough of the public complain
2)playing the devil's advocate, how are we supposed to know who are the real anti-jews, anti-blacks, ect. if we ban any such content from social media? You can ban the kooks, but that wouldn't stop them from having antisemitic comments to themselves, we just won't know about it.
3) It's hilarious seeing MSNBC and friends try and connect the shooter to Trump when the shooter was avidly anti-Trump on his social media.

Technically, sure. But that's not the definition of "terrorism" American/Western media has been steeped in for almost two decades now, so I'm a little suspicious when people demand--and always with a woke racial component--that psycho "lone wolf" shooters be labeled terrorists. It's almost as if they're angry P.O.C.s are getting punished with the mean label and want the fairness of a hu-white killer being punished in the same way.
