Either way, rejecting customers when you're struggling is like refusing to take your insulin after eating a pound of cake; suicidal and stupid. Especially since now I know this bag of trash will fleece you happily if you like something they don't, which is just asking for a suit or going out of business.

Yes one of the participants in that thread; Heather Harris MacFarlane, owned 'Magic Mirror Comics' and went out of business a few months ago. The store also kicked out and banned a longtime customer for asking about stocking the book, just prior to shutting it's doors. Customer was named Dylan, YouTube personaility therealcomicbookgamer and had over 50,000 subs at the time of the incident.

IMO the end goal for an SJW is power more than anything else. Power to do what they want and tell people to fuck off without consequence. They're people who've had very little power and influence for most of their lives but thanks to their ability (or whining) they've managed to get some, and they want to make as much use of it as they can. They don't realise that power, especially in the creative arts, is not constant and requires a lot of manouvring in order to stay relevant and successful for a long period, just that they have it right now and they can win any argument by virtue of having their name in lights. As you say it's the five year old wanting all his toys to himself and no one to even dare ask about sharing.

Richard C. Meyer, AKA Ya Boi Zack, AKA Diversity & Comics is suing powerful and well connected comic book author Mark Waid for Tortious Interference and Defamation.

Ya Boi Zack is a longtime comic book fan, and more recently a critic of the far leftist, SJW (or NPC) influence in these stories. He became a YouTube critic of comic books when he noticed a clear pattern of political hectoring within these superhero stories, but far worse, a diseased practice of political harassment by comic book professionals towards their customers online.

He stood up and articulated the feelings of frustration that thousand and thousands of comic book fans felt as they watched their hobby twisted into a megaphone for extremists. And he gained a large following for it.

This came with consequences. Those he criticized formed a targeted harassment campaign against him, smearing his good name and attempting to ruin his life. He countered this with creativity.

When he crowdfunded his own comic book, it raised an unbelievable sum of $400,000.

They panicked.

Mark Waid, a bully with a history of harassing those who disagree with him, took it upon himself to call Zack's publisher and interfere with the contract they had between them. He bragged about it, before and after doing it. He scared this publisher.

And Zack lost his publishing deal.

This was a foul misdeed, and needed to be answered. Zack sunk the profits from his comic book into a lawsuit against Waid. And Waid is now crowdfunding his own defense to protect his ability to threaten comic publishers who wish to publish moderate or right leaning comics.

He wishes to enshrine his ability to threaten anyone opposed to him, to ruin lives, reputations, and careers in virtue signaling tantrums. He is at the very heart of the problem in comics, and we must NOT allow Zack's limited resources to be a reason why he isn't STOPPED.

Looking at videos MW was at roughly 10k at 7 hours, Zack is 32k in 4 hours.

I think it took roughly 2 hours for the woke crowd to notice MW and start funding in earnest, whereas EVS hit the ground running with his live-stream. Zack Also got a 10k donation right of the bat and MW got one around day 2.5 so it's hard to compare. It'll be interesting to see who gets to 75k first, MW's is crawling at the moment and other YouTuber's have yet to chime in on Zack's.
