Now, all this talk of "ethics" and "collusion" and "cronyism" are, to any observer with an iota of intelligence, "bull pucky". So things like this - a developer / publicist starting a change.org petition demanding a developer change the content of his game because "[journalists] are YOUR audience" is totally kosher and should raise no red flags at all.

Now, it doesn't prove Anita is behind it, but since we know she's been ignoring/blocking people who showed her the video, I'm 99.99% positive that she got it taken down. There has to be a point where even the sheep can see that Anita and John are con-artists. I feel like we're getting closer and closer to that point.

"I was about to go to write about something else other than Arthur Chu, for the second time tonight. Earlier, he got bumped by Zoe Quinn, and her little millionaire beta-boyfriend, Alex Lifschitz. This normally wouldn’t be notable. Stories get bumped all the time, I just usually don’t talk about it that much. What made this case weird, was that Arthur had actually called me out on Twitter earlier out of the blue.

He seemed to be saying that he was a big figure in GamerGate, due to the amount of times I had written about him here on the site. Now, the tweet was mocking me, to be sure. But it also seemed to be filled with some real egomania. I can’t exactly criticize someone for tagging someone out of the blue on Twitter, since I do it all the times. Still, the quote was a bit strange:


I followed it up with a quote of my own, going into his bullying from earlier in the day.
But, we’ve seen that from him before, as nasty as it is. It’s not something that’s going to excite a lot of people. You’ve read about it already, so unless he does a new or novel type of harassment, it’s not huge news. It’s not like he’s one of the main players in GamerGate, anyway. He’s an ancillary figure.

But when someone sends me proof that he ignored rape, I have to report it. What’s really funny, is that I’ve read the column where he mentions it before. Twice. But it still didn’t register. It took a YouTube video to really put it into focus. The interviewer wasted no time going in on his heinous past:

Arthur chalks up his lack of conscience to “human nature.” I don’t know about you, but it’s not in my nature to allow rapists to go unchallenged. If I don’t think I can stop them physically, I’ll call the cops. I’m not about to let a woman get raped. Who the fuck does something like that, ever? Not only that, does he think he deserves a gold star for coming out now? He deserves a kick in the face, possibly worse.

He also needs to come clean now on who these rapists are. The statute of limitations in Ohio for felony rape is 20 years. Arthur Chu went to school in Pennsylvania. The statute of limitations there is 12 years. If he really wants to make up for his past, he should go to the authorities, and tell them what he knows. Anything short of that, would be hypocritical. So, expect him to laugh it off, and do nothing. Because these people are nothing, if not hypocritical."

He admits in the interview that he is aware that rape is terrible, but he feels "no motivation to stop it". He knows it's wrong, but he doesn't give a shit.

Last I heard, he's going to be on the David Pakman show, I hope to fuck David calls him out on that.

Anyone who throws terms like "beta" or "alpha" around is a douchebag. Period. You just a gamer dude, not Jane Goodall living among the monkeys. Fuck that shit. I don't care what someone has or hasn't done, or what side of the argument you are on, but whoever described Zoe Quinn's boyfriend as "beta" and think this is a legitimate insult, should get Ebola and die. That's wizard speech, not normal people speech, and it has no place in any serious discussion.

True, but consider the following:

1) Saney wants to keep the peace around here.
2) We, as in the Pro-GG movement, has been reporting people on the other side using that exact same language to their employers and sponsors. To encourage language like that in the context of this event gives validation that the other side is "just foolin" and "people take things way too seriously" and directly runs counter to the very things we are trying to accomplish - financial pressure on a number of bad actors.

The *chans get a slight pass because, well, that's their culture, but if Based Mom tweeted out, "I hope people bashing real feminism get ebola and die" would turn into a shitshow and look poorly on us.

Remember this? Of course you do, it was posted like 3 hours ago. Well, this chummy fellow is backpeddling hard after what, I can only imagine, is a variety of colorful ways he has been told he munches on cocks.

Here is the change.org petition creator, game developer, publicist, and journalistblogger explaining why thoughtcrimes are only bad if people he doesn't agree with them commit them.

“I’ve been discussing this game in a lot of places, and one of them was on an Unreal Developers group on linkedin which Marcin, the technical artist from Destructive Creations, participated. I realize that I stated the game was racist and sexist, however after extensive discussion, I see that the context of my allegations was a little mixed up. What I meant was that the game itself may not be sexist or racist, but the trailer was. I can’t speak for the developers, however I can say that they’re choice of NPC’s in the trailer that were shown in the close-up executions were mostly people of colour and women. That, to me, makes it look like the developer thinks that killing these types of people fuels the hatred for you and the player character, which is wrong. I’d also like to reiterate that I am not protesting the violence, just the fact that this game glorifies it and rewards you for committing heinous acts of random violence in a non-comical manner that suggests the game is intended for disturbed teenage white males.

I know there have been violent games in the past, and I have played many of them but my stake in this as a developer and gamer, is that we need to hold games under a different light. Development pipelines for video games from here on out should be approached with diversity and inclusion of all people and not make a spectacle of someone based on gender (if any) or ethnicity, whether in the trailer or in game.”
