I was surprised when Graham Linehan was taken aback by Jake’s true appearance. I guess there are a fair few people who don’t actually bother to do their research, or who really do buy into that “KF lies” story.

No wonder he continually feels like shit, the time one goes to sleep is probably even more important than how many hours they sleep.

I am pretty sure he has a vitamin D deficiency too, when you consider he stays in the basement all day, except for the occasional outing with his mother or his weekly trip to the therapist.

The S is probably part of the first half, so it's "Google's Horny Net Geek" with the apostrophe cut since most older sites wouldn't let you use special characters, or a verb variant of "Googles Horny Net Geek(s)" as in 'searches for other horny net geeks(like myself)'

The "google" in his name probably isn't a reference to the search engine, since I think he started using it before Google even existed. At the very least, before they became synonymous with search.

Well they launched in '98 if my CNet memories are correct, and there isn't another relevant spelling unless you're talking about crafting with Googly Eyes(the actual number Googol is the correct spelling vs. Google's company name spelling via a popular anecdote)

I remember them becoming big in 2000 and from there on out smashing every other search engine including the previously big ones like Altavista - the proto-google(it had e-mail, website translation, other stuff, it was also garbage that could be gamed by aggressive SEO).

I'm curious about how Jake "observes" his pretend birthday. There's no reason his family would acknowledge it in any way, so what does he do other than solicit social media acknowledgement?
