John seems to have been a regular at Arisia before and after this incident though.

I looked this up. She's been to Arisia several times as a speaker, both as a gamergate "victim" and as a hanger-on with Frank. In 2015 she did a gamergate panel that included Movieblob and apparently she spent much of the panel going off on him because he still worked for The Escapist at the time which she considered to be raping her on a daily basis. Shame there doesn't appear to be video of that online.

Mikki Kendall is herself, a trash fire who attack’s anyone and everyone that is white or disagrees with her but those complaints about John are not surprising. Every tweet of John’s conveys surface level understanding (feminism, tech, politics, gaming, etc).

He basically has Movie Blob syndrome, ie. reading a Wikipedia entry or article on a topic written by someone smarter than him, not understanding the topic, then somehow incorrectly parroting the point trying to be made.

Very funny, though, in spite of Mikki Kendall trashing John people still continue to donate to his scampaign. I guess Mikki has zero power outside woke twitter/YA clique.
