If we take into account his house, toys, IPs and no dependencies Waid may still have a larger reserve. I think he ran this go fund me because he didn't want to sell any of his memorabilia as well as have other people pay for his mistakes. Unsurprisingly it is a much better written, more interesting and more compelling ongoing story than anything the Comics Pros have published in years. I mean we haven’t see this much of an over the top scenery chewing New Super Villain since the early days of the Joker or Red Skull.
