There's an exception for Medical and Education, but even then you need to pay the QUALIFIED medical service provider or QUALIFIED educational institution directly. Then again, Peter Thiel underwrote Hulk Hogan's lawsuit vs. Gawker and I never heard anything about gift taxes there. I'm assuming the payments there went straight to the attorney, if nothing else. Possibly (Hopefully?) I'm wrong, back when I did this kind of shit I never ran into a third party payer of legal fees situation, but I gotta think the attorney is paid directly in this situation, otherwise you're not, well, a third party payer.

I'm just going to point out again that Gail is the woman who did the "cutesy forgetful grandma" act despite hyping up this comics shit as a life and death situation that will determine the entire trajectories of young children who will be "inspired" by seeing superheroes drawn with a darker skin color.

I really think Anti-CG needs to be serious if they treat "representation in the media" as this magical thing that will change everything. It's not something to laugh about if we buy into this absurd notion.

I see your point, but IMO, EVS is a retard who thinks Comicsgate is %10,000 srs business. He frequently rages against how things are in Comics right now, when he essentially lost the biggest opportunity as a mega influencer inside the industry purely because of Comicsgate sperging. He may be paid far more at the moment, but this is far from confirmed and stable income.

I love the dude's art, but we have to accept that he's approaching lolcowdom at the pace of a speeding bullet.

So far, CG speds' retardation seems more about infighting and making dumbass mistakes. I also think that Ya Boy's retreat from Twitter opened a power vacuum, which the likes of Vox Day and EVS are now trying to step into, to very hilarious effects.

She's been in a downward spiral for a bit but now she's completely cracked. I'm guessing she's been getting the silent treatment or outright blocked by a lot of former industry folks who have decided she's no longer worth humoring.
