This doesn't relate to any one specific thread, but in every ResetEra thread that gets linked here I always find at least one person bemoaning how the thread is a shitshow. I can't tell if it's standard hyper-leftist defeatism or the few sane people on the site figuring out a way to voice their opinions without getting banned.

I'm a little surprised excelsiorlef even knows what a Kroger is, they're not in Canada & only in 30 of the US states. They exclude several bigger border states like New York. Just an odd observation.

Looks like https://resetera.live/ was operated by a guy named Shao Kahn who was banned for 1 week from the forum.

I didn't want to narc on the ResetEra.live operator but now that he's shutting down the site, I want to point out that he's done far more to infringe on ResetEra LLC's trademark than anything I've ever done. He owns a "resetera" domain on a TLD (as opposed to my subdomains), he uses their actual logo on his site and he's in violation of the ResetEra ToS. Despite all of this I'm unaware of ResetEra LLC enforcing their trademark.

"Popular and influtential", this guy should get the worlds biggest optimistic rating.

Yeah, developers that have admitted that your site has a bad reputation, even among them.

They're free to come here, get banned, and then shit talked by a bunch of cowards who fear dissenting opinions... You're kinda proving their point.

Surprisingly, there are some sensible responses in that thread and none of them have caught a ban yet. Of course the mods had to shut it down ASAP before it had a chance to spread.

You'll notice Nintendo as a whole gives little shits about crybullies. It's only Treehouse who ruin localizations of stuff, but when it comes to actually influencing the game at its core, they have no clout at all. This is not a problem they can make up their own dialogue for, since it's in the animation.
