One of the things Trudeau originally campaigned on was changing the voting system from FPTP, which he dropped in 2017 when he realized that it would kill future chances at maintaining a house majority to bringing over trucks of peace. Currently he says he'll revisit it if the other parties agree to use anything other than PR (really makes you ). It's not really a left-wing cause as it is a third-party cause, it just happens that the major third party is the extra left-wing NDP.

From a jackass strategy standpoint, it makes even more sense to not move away from FPTP because now there's a chance that the People's Party will split the conservative vote from the CPC, while NDP Jagmeet Singh is such a wet bag that there's no equivalent danger on the left.

There's a perception that there isn't as much insanity in Canadian politics as there are in the US, but there are genuinely fucked up things happening up north, like how the creation of the now-removed Ontario sex ed curriculum was overseen by a literal pedophile.
Five bucks that Geoff goes on more platitudes about how Bernier is alt-right, though. Sure hope it backfires on his ass as badly as all that Goblin Slayer whining did.

Canada requires you to provide several forms of ID to vote. First you need 2 forms of ID or something else to prove you live where you say you live. If you're homeless you need the local shelter to give you a form to hand in. Second, you need 2 forms of ID to prove you are who you say you are.

Oddly enough, Canadians minorities and immigrants seem have more access to this ID because of the process they went through or because of tribal papers, etc.

The natives in Canada are given alot of autonomy despite their huge government subsidies. The issue is that alot of these tribes are run by very corrupt cliques within the tribe or are straight up monarchies.

Worse, the tribal council gives each tribe one vote and some tribes have 12 people and others have 20,000 so that screws things even further.

All Harper's policies did was require chiefs to disclose how they spent the money. It was revealed that chiefs gave themselves luxurious salaries of half a million dollars and rewarded themselves finder fees for identifying matters of concern or for finding companies to do business in their communities. Trudeau got rid of that to the anger of reformers and overall it seems like natives are getting more conservative as some communities (in the prairies where nearly all of the tribes are democratic) now protest in favor of oil drilling instead of against it.

BC native communities are insanely pro-liberal and anti-oil but also... pretty much every tribe in BC is a corrupt monarchy.

Oh I can't wait for the eventually SJW backfire he will get for selling his girlfriend's nudes on pateron and saying it is objectifing her.

I want to see that shit storm of him going back on everything he said then act like it never happened.
