It seems like a Jeff rewrite could go a lot of different directions. Maybe it should be a CYOA?

Hey guys, want to play a game? A Birthday game??

There actually are a few pretty good vidya creepypastas that feature their original games. I can't really name any off the top of my head but there's this one that's basically about this guy posting on some gaming forum looking for some game, and once a few people admit to playing it and they talk about it more they start remembering how fucked up it was.Are there any vidya creepypastas that actually, like, invent a new game, instead of relying on a previously established franchise?
Just curious.

I really like that one too (Cosbydaf is a great writer). Some people complained that it wasn't scary enough, just disturbing but that reminds me of a lot of horror fans nowadays who always expect scares in a horror movie rather than the ideas themselves. The only real problem I have with the pasta is the overly convenient ending.Hm, I don't think it's been mentioned yet but I rather like "Normal porn for normal people" http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Normal_Porn_for_Normal_People probably not as great compared to some of the other things shared (yet to get round to them) but it's at least got plausibility going for it, given some of the messed up things the internet can produce.
I kinda like Creepypastas in the same fashion as Horror movies, if they're good, they're thought provoking, imaginative and of course, scary (like say... The Thing... the Carpenter one)
When they're bad, they're often a riot (see: the crappypasta/slowbeef's house of horror selection) kind of a win/win compared to other genres as far as I'm concerned.
I love this one. People have complained about it being too bizarre, but I think that's why it works. The best creepypastas are the ones that are subtle and ambiguous. (Barbie.avi is another prime example.) But apparently that's too boring/confusing, hence HYPER REALISTIC BLOOD.Hm, I don't think it's been mentioned yet but I rather like "Normal porn for normal people" http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Normal_Porn_for_Normal_People probably not as great compared to some of the other things shared (yet to get round to them) but it's at least got plausibility going for it, given some of the messed up things the internet can produce.

I will check this out. Thank you!
