I assume he meant it as a joke. You have to remember: Jason is a long-time Something Awful poster. Something Awful is a hotbed of SJW extremism, and the view that women are eternally put upon is widely shared over there. He probably thinks its clever comedic exaggeration, but the "joke" only works if you have the mentality of an SA poster.

It's a joke, of sorts. Of the sort you get from an SA goon who thinks child molestation is so funny it can be the sole basis for a hilarious one-joke comic strip where the punchline is always rape.

But it looks like he wanted to make the most vapid negative take he could on Stan Lee's death. Even if it's intended as a joke (which he'd likely claim if he receives any backlash from it), it doesn't even resemble humour, let alone being a piss-poor response.

If we want to go full :autism: with killing the joke, Stan wasn't even involved with Nebula's creation. We'd be talking about the following generation of Marvel creators who managed to make lasting stories and creations in their own right instead of demanding praise for having (trashed) the brand name.

This one gets better when you read the whole thing. He basically said he showed up in some SA anti-CG thread, started talking about his "super secret plan", got told he's an idiot, caused enough drama to lock the thread, and then decided this is proof that he has superpowers.

I think it's a safe bet he gets off on this attention but that is comical. More so since Something Awful accounts need to be bought so he spent at least $10 to shit himself.

Eh, I think Sana Amanat was getting really close around the 2 minute mark when she started going on about diversity, social politics, and "now that is at the forefront of everything we talk about". That could be me being jumpy at those words though.

It's pretty much only Snan Amanat who is speaking the usual SJW talking points. Even Joe Quesada and Tom Broovert, for their own often repulsive personalities, spoke of how Stan affected them on a personal level. She goes into the whole "diversity" spiel, which I doubt was was Stan's intention. It was about characters to him and not ideology.

Probably but not in the way most people think. There's still urban legends that he was modeled after the Black Panther party despite pre-dating that group and for a period was renamed "The Black Leopard" to avoid the association. That era was really short as people were sending mail to change it back as they thought it was a silly change.

Sanna is completely incapable of not spewing out her “Diversity” NPC lines. Does she lack the concept of TPO? It was nice seeing Brevoort and Quesadilla act like normal people.

Now that Stan is gone, I’m very curious how this will affect the creative side of the comics. The lifestyle brand is already making great success out of destroying what little fan base is left.

For those curious what Marvel as lifestyle brand look like:

How will what affect the creative side? Stan Lee hasn't really been involved in the creative side at Marvel for years.

Can someone who's better at words point out exactly why "Eat The Universe" is an extremely off putting title? It'd be easy to say "it's cringy" but I think it's because it conjures up....certain imagery.
