How Sauron wasn't an outright villain, but a menacing presence, and comparing it to one of the MLP villains who essentially served the same exact purpose, and ranked that villain (Sombra, I believe) as one of the worst MLP villains. Something like that.

Of course lore and worldbuilding is something Jerry seemed to hate out of the blue so he's gotta find some way to rectify Jehovah being limited to backstory and lore so that his totally excellent story is totally excellent in every way that every other piece of media isn't... or something

The difference is that while Sauron never shows up in person, his influence is felt throughout the entire story.
The Nazgul, Saruman, Gollum, the Orcs and every instance of trouble caused by the Ring, all serve to establish Sauron's presence from afar.
Even if he doesn't antagonize the heroes himself, his agents and his armies and his Soul Jar are there to antagonize on his behalf.

Hell even Sombra spends the entirety of his appearance as a giant cloud of shadow surrounding the crystal city, taunting the protagonists and banging on the magic shield one of them is struggling to keep powered just hold him off until the others can find the macguffin needed to defeat him. He is always there, always visible and always a clear and immediate threat to the protagonists, both with the traps he laid in their way and the fact that he's way too powerful for them to fight head on if they fail to find the macguffin.

Jehova literally just hides in the Abyss until it's time for the final battle.
That would be like the Fellowship making it all the way to Mount Doom without a single hindrance and then Sauron shows up just as Frodo is throwing the Ring into the lava.

If Lily wanted Jehova to be Sauron style villain, then he would actually have to show presence and pose a threat.
He'd have to be a monster that even Valithria is scared to face and whose minions oppose the Val'kyr at every step.
Not some chump that Valithria I-am-the-Mary-Suest-of-them-all Ryder defied without any trouble at the start of her career and who hasn't been seen or heard off ever since because he's scared shitless of her.

Lily is such a fucking hack writer.

I’m pretty sure he thinks he’s coming off as intellectual and enlightened but it comes off as pathetic, it really does. Jerry thinks he’s a knowledgeable big boy because he told his teachers and his parents that he didn’t want to do his homework. Somehow he’s convinced himself that it’s oppressive for teachers and parents to tell you to do your goddamn homework.

Homework is typically built into the curriculum to help you retain the information you spent 40 minutes a day learning alongside the other things you’ve learned in 40 minute increments (that’s typically how it is in our ‘Murican middle schools and high schools, I don’t imagine it’s too different in Canada; you people had “periods”, right?) If you’re not able to retain information you learned in class just by taking notes in your class - good, you’re not supposed to. That’s why you do work at home - to keep everything fresh in your mind. So what if it keeps you from fapping to lesbian ponies? Anyone would argue that algebraic equations and the periodic table take priority over jacking off on your own time. Try going to college, attending all of your classes, not studying between them, but spending all your time playing Battlefield or WoW. It’s not gonna work.

So yes Jerry. It’s never your fault, you deluded, arrogant fuck.

But please Jerry, don’t try and convince your 13 year old fans that doing homework is somehow oppressive and teachers assigning homework means they’re walking all over you. Even though they watch you and follow you, some of them might have bright futures. Don’t fucking taint them.
