The story: Jake's an actually homeless MtF and is sleeping wherever he can find somewhere to sleep. Meanwhile during the day he's desperately trying to avoid being beaten up or worse because of being a homeless, vulnerable troon, and trying to get welfare, housing and healthcare is really difficult when you have no fixed address and are always at risk of being attacked.

The reality: Jake is living comfortably in his mum's attic, warm, safe and well-fed. Anything he needs he can just ask his mum for, and she will provide it. His home is stable, secure, in a quiet area with a very low crime rate, and Jake can go out at any time without fear of being attacked (because he's like a large, white cis male).

He's gone from bending the truth like a pretzel to outright lying. I really wish his mum could see what he posts, but I can't believe we're sitting here saying these things over a guy past the age of 13.

This is to be treated as pure conjecture because as usual, Jake is an obtuse and incomprehensible motherfucker who can't write his way out of a wet paperbag, but I have a feeling that Jake's life was kinda eventful lately:

1. Jake got in deep with Becky, who is far more insane than Zoe Quinn ever was, and far more short-sighted too. Given that nothing else of note happens in Jake's life, I assume that he was constantly on edge while he was getting pushback on his ill-advised campaign.
2. Additionally, someone has apparently sent pages of this thread to Jake's mother (not necessarily a Kiwi, remember there are lurkers too, my money is on TERFs), and not to self-aggrandize, but my money is either on the new OP or the now frequently-updated Lolcow Wiki entry, because those are two sources where so many snapshots of Jake's online behavior were conveniently collected in an easily-accessible spot that didn't require one to dig through a 700-page thread.. Making them the perfect bits of content to send to a certain fat gnome's mother.
3. This probably led to a big blow-up at home, and a Mama Alley-imposed deadline to shape-up or ship-out. Hence the increased frequency of his begging and the.. frantic nature of them.

It was over 100 prior to that Googleshng about muting.

Jake averages 160+ tweets a day including RTs. If everyone he follows posted 160 tweets a day his feed would be a total clusterfuck and he'd miss out on important stuff because his feed was clogged up with shit. His inability to see that's exactly why people use mute to curate their feeds is interesting because it usually has nothing to do with disliking someone. If he's offended by being muted, maybe he needs to post less garbage so people won't feel like he's spamming shit and making them miss out on other people's tweets.

It is good of him to explain how to use Twitter in a healthy fashion. As a man who makes thousands of tweets a week, spends his entire day on the site, uses it as his entire social interaction and treats his follower count as something of life-and-death importance, he can teach us a lot about healthy Twitter use.

I'm inclined to agree. The one thing that is conspicuously absent from his ravings is mention of job searching. He still sticks to his schedule of tweeting all night and sleeping all day, so unless he spends part of that time not tweeting but instead filling out online job apps, he's not doing anything to change his situation.
