I believe is the false belief that "you can't have any gays/LGBTBBQ+/Fat/people of color in comics because is not mainstream" you have to put straights macho men beating each other to make a profit, considering the actual state of the comic industry she is actually right and wrong, people dont care if you put the gays in your stories, people begin to complain when the only thing that character has is their sexuality, besides that they are or plain boring or mary sues, that is why things like America Chavez crashed and burn with holy fire, and that surname trigger me to no end

Jim Carrey is completely unhinged by this point. That's not news. He's currently obsessively painting bizarre Trump pictures at an incredible rate. Attacking Trump, his family, his administration, and others.
Seems like he cranks out at least one a week. There's easily 50+ by now.

This actually makes me a bit sad. Remember when everyone and their mother came out of the woodwork to remind us that Kanye West has unmedicated bipolar disorder? Jim Carey has a history of mental illness and announced publicly that he's not taking anything for it anymore, and everyone still just eggs him on and fans the flames because he's saying the things they want to hear. Heaven forbid this art is a sign of a degrading mental state or a cry for help, he hates Trump! Go Jim!

In some ways, they are a typical political power couple seeking to “Make America Great Again.”
They are throwing a $5 million fund-raiser for President Trump this winter, and are quick to make it known that they have the president’s sons’ cellphone numbers on speed dial. They have poured more than $50,000 of their own money into supporting the president, who smiles in photos on the bookshelves of their home.
But Bill White and his husband, Bryan Eure, are not red state evangelicals or die-hard right-wingers. In fact, for years, they were key players among a cohort that Mr. Trump loathes: Manhattan’s liberal elite.
Mr. Trump is an unconventional commander in chief who ran an unorthodox campaign. As such, he has cultivated unusual allies, including Kanye West and Roger Stone. Mr. White and Mr. Eure used to back strident, anti-Trump Democrats, but now dine with Fox News anchors and plan rounds of golf at Mar-a-Lago.

I was there at the Javits Center on the first Tuesday of November 2016. And I stayed the whole night until we were clear beyond a doubt that our candidate had lost. No, I did not jump ship to the competing candidate's rally. I stayed and experienced the loss and had to deal with the painful emotions. That this couple would so easily switch sides based on whoever is in power is pathetic and indicates that they do not truly care about advancing LGBT equality. One wonders how they will respond if voters turn on trump in 2020.

At a dinner the couple hosted early this year in their Chelsea apartment, Corey Johnson, a Democrat and the openly gay speaker of the New York City Council, became irate when the couple suggested he meet Mr. Trump to discuss the city’s infrastructure needs, Mr. White said.

Offended that she failed to acknowledge him, Mr. White said, he whipped out his phone and dialed Donald Trump Jr. “He said, ‘Do you want me to come over? I’m at the office, do you want me to?’”
abruptly resigned as president of the Intrepid, pushed out, he said, after the state began an investigation into whether he had engaged in unlicensed commercial fund-raising.
He was not charged with any crime, but agreed to pay $1 million in restitution to the state as a settlement.
Mr. White, who said he had done no wrong, still winces when he speaks of the pillorying that followed.
The pair said their behavior was in keeping with a lifelong focus on mission over party, namely fighting for veterans and gay rights.
They have supported a few Republicans before Mr. Trump. They’ve also jumped political ship: In 2012, they made headlines by demanding a refund from Mitt Romney, which they did not get, after the G.O.P. candidate for president said marriage was exclusively between a man and a woman.
And for Mr. Eure, the bumpy ride has been less of an evolution than a return to his Republican roots. “My parents are thrilled,” he said.

That goes for a lot of people in the entertainment industry in general, really. With the mental and emotional human meatgrinder of rape, drugs, blackmail and corruption that is Hollywood, you can be rest assured that if you don't go into showbiz mentally fucked, you're sure as hell going to come out of it mentally fucked. Dave Chappelle was one of the few to have figured that out for a while

Forget gasoline, white phosphorus isn't banned by the geneva convention. There are some secondary treaties that ban it's use near civilians. With the way those are worded, using the WP as a "smoke screen" is perfectly legal. The fact they are burning under the smoke screen doesn't matter.
