He's doing Dragon Quest XI for the early stream (the horror) and says "It's all about interaction today, okay?"

Shameless. Absolutely shameless.
He claims he's stressed and is hoping everyone will want to interact on his chill stream. Wants some relaxation. :story:How many stupid fake hints is he going to come up with until Christmas?

Wow, he's really stepping it up this pre-stream. Says this might be his last Christmas this way, in this house.

Seriously, if I had a kid who watched DSP regularly, I'd forbid it to continue to watch him and file a complaint with Twitch that one of their partners is basically trying to brainwash his audience by repeating his money problems and pushing for donations every.single.stream.

He's worse than those televangelists trying to squeeze money out of gullible people.

phil we wouldnt fuck with you if you didnt call us kids/morons/mentally ill everyday
For some reason he thinks this is okay, because we seem to share a common detractor-hivemind? He doesn't get how immensily insulting he is to people who simply disagree with him. He literally does not realize how he grows the numbers of his "enemies" with his reckless wordings.

I have never referred to myself as a “grown, mature adult” despite having been one for quite some time now. Have you noticed Phil seems to do that a lot, as if he’s trying to convince everyone he is? Trying to find the right words to describe Phil and I found this:

I think all 10 apply to Phil.
I do agree. I counted 10/10 easily. Some of them, including examples and quotes, literally sound like DSP.

LOL

I had the stream running as background noise while doing other stuff when I heard him doing a shout out to a sub. He literally said: "Welcome to the shill stream!". :lit: It at least sounded like that very much.

I'll see if I can upload a clip.

-edit-
Yep, got it! He actually said it. :stress:

No editing or anything like that. You can check out the source VOD of the current live stream if you want; skip to 1:14:30 to hear it => https://www.twitch.tv/videos/343741039 (the VOD will stay available until DSP deletes it, usually right after he stops streaming).

It's actually pretty scary how easy it was to think of scenarios where he would fit in all 10 of the categories. Its already been known but he really is a textbook example of a man child

he says he keeps being positive but he takes every opportunity to insult someone or be just negative

Except Phil was consulted and had it explained to him when he got his Finance degree in college. There is absolutely no excuse for him to be in this situation. He tells his viewers that it’s all because of those detractors, but they never made him be irresponsible with his money. After eight fucking years, it’s never occurred to him to put some of the money away on the side for taxes, that not all of that money is actually his to keep.

hes also has signs of being a cult leader

I know it's early days and there's plenty of time left to watch him squirm, but how about a thread dedicated to whether or not Philbo Beggins can reach the tippy top of Mount Debt and clear the required $16k? We know the deadline anyways so I'm curious to see how many folks think he'll do as he usually does and weasel on through or is this finally it. Has he finally just put too much pressure on the piglets with this one? Will the writers throw in a late game Tut $10k plot twist?

As an aside I caught a blurb of him saying he works far more than 40 hours a week. Has me scratching my head a little. I wish he'd put a number on how much he actually thinks he works because at this rate I wouldn't be surprised if he honestly considers ginposting at 3am part of the business because he considers his twitter promotion and advertising. Watching wrestling is probably considered a tax write off as well in his head because staying up to date on the happenings in WWE keeps him informed in case any fan "engages in a transaction" when they pay him for an opnion on Kurt Angle in 2018. Does this man honestly believe he works 80 hours a week or something close to it? :story:

Also I think the dog toy is cute

I'd actually oppose a thread that keeps an up-to-date tracking of how much he's gotten because that could be used to encourage more giving by Phil's fans. Instead, what I'd propose (and I'd be happy to do it since it's minimal extra work) is a roundup at the end of April breaking down how much "extra" he got. Then we can compare with what he says--in other words, if he claims everything worked out, but I/we can show that he didn't get anywhere close to that $16k, it'll shed some light on how much he was lying.

As for his "work", he has at various times counted the entire time from when he turns on the first stream to when he shuts off the second as "work" (when he says he works 12 hour days). His "10 hour" claim is the entirety of just his streams. Of course, this includes both the time when he's not actually doing anything on the stream (breaks, the music at the beginning, etc). If you go by actual gameplay time, you're looking at more like 5.5 - 7 hours, with 6 being about average.

He's not far off from the claim of working 40 hours a week then, one day off a week so 6 hours average multiplied by 6 days is 36 hours, as an average.

Phil probably counts dressing for stream as work though, so it's likely a larger figure in his mind.
