Right, so you're not allowed to call it a "fundraiser", but you ARE allowed to call it an "effort to raise funds". Strikes me as skating on mighty thin ice there. He might actually be really desperate this time.

he just loves to play with words to his advantage. if hes caught spamming projectiles in street fighter, hes not spamming,he is 'zoning'

This is the actual video thumb nail...

I mean sure; he is going for the pity look; but this is border line desperation

And he wants tips from YouTube too it seems...
No shame!

Edit: announcing his 4 'special live' events... Which will be in an 'effort to raise funds'
(note: NOT a fund raiser thou. Haha pathetic)

Edit 2: that video was maybe the most pathetic cash grab he's ever done. Spruiking these 4 random 'marathon' streams while saying repeatedly he needs help to save his (second) house.

So hypocritical of him to say he's always got past challenges, BUT to get past this one he needs ppl to give him $16k

Also said he needs to "hold out" for 2 years as some loans will be sorted them or some thing.
he needs 16 to sort things out so he can the refinance his house a.k.a getting another loan that needs to be repaid

I haven't seen his newest attempt to make a fool outta himself yet, but I want to paste my own tweet cuz it fits so well, and I would say it anyway. This was originally addressed to some other stuff he did this week, but the pain train keeps rolling anyway.

"He spreads his chickenwings and reaches shamelessness like none other before him. Some amazing weeks so far, there is no way they go by without any damage to him. Maybe paypigs wake up, maybe Twitch does something. Maybe not tomorrow but EY he screams to get in trouble."

If you don't think Twitch has already had a private discussion with him about where the line is, idk what to tell you.

If there is a line in he sand, DSP will find it and get as close to it as possible.

It's totally normal to be up at 3 AM with a soulmate around, right?

Edit:

And to be making and uploading yet another "PLEASE GIVE ME MONEY" video, right?
I restreamed Phil last night and my restream got struck worldwide because it played the final cinematic to DQ11.

I imagine his uploads are getting blocked during processing because of the content match from Square Enix.

Jesus, and I thought Phil was begging already.
This is next tier shaking a mug.
Last year he burned his paypigs out by February and he is pushing way harder this year. If he were smart he wouldn't have started the hard push until January since these 4 fundraisers will count on his 2019 taxes, but it isn't like he has had a big issue paying taxes or anything.

Tonight at Ten: a local Renton man is need of a little holiday cheer. Phil Burnell, aka Darksydephil, is a Twitch streamer and YouTuber who is looking to raise funds this holiday season to pay his 2018 federal taxes. He says if he doesn’t Raise $16,000 by April, he will have to sell his house. “I did nothing wrong! I did everything correct!” Apparently, Burnell’s woes are the work of one man, Tevin, another YouTuber who watches Phil’s streams. “He’s illegally restreaming me (snort)!” We asked Phil’s girlfriend what she thought of this situation. “Oh... I don’t know.” Mr. Burnell says you too can have the opportunity to help him out by going to his Twitch stream and tipping him. “I need that money, I really do. I need that money to pay my bills.”

And why is that? Because he doesn't understand why the rules exist. Everything has to go according to his thick skull. He just plays the childish: Siiigh okay mommy and daddy I won't do that again because you say so. And then passive aggressively keeps on doing it: But mommy I don't REALLY do it, because I play with semantics.

Btw, the way he got hate from an entire tournament stream, was this part of his 16000+ plan? I think people start to really like you Phil! (unfortunately sarcasm is hard to spot in written form)

Pretty much every forum has bots that come in to try and collect whatever information they can scrape (and potentially post up links if there's not some basic form of CAPTCHA on the sign up). I don't think there's anything unusual about the # of "guests".

You know I'll be tracking it. That said, I'm not planning on posting anything publicly about it--no need to help Phil out. That said, he's claiming he'll be keeping a tally going, so anyone should be able to drop in and see how he's doing/how he did.

1. Okay I hadn't thought about 3rd party scrapers that have nothing to do with anything. Likely a combination of that and farmers milling about.

2. It'll be included as a summary in the Savings and Loan thread I hope?

I think the main, #1 super important difference is that bits won't count toward these "funds" he's "raising". If it's tips only i don't think Twitch cares very much; they just don't want you advertising it as a "fundraiser" because that term is generally denoted for charities, and they don't want big FUNDRAISER ads and graphics for e-begging.

“Oh... I don’t know.”

Mr. Burnell says you too can have the opportunity to help him out by going to his Twitch stream and tipping him. “I need that money, I really do. I need that money to pay my bills.”

When asked what would happen if he had to sell his house, Mr Burnell said he'd be forced to return to his investment unit and former residence in the state of Connecticut, where his estranged family he hasn't seen in 2 years lives.

In addition, he and his girlfriend might consider selling one of their two cars, given their combined income of over $140,000 a year just didn't cut it in Renton.

Mr Burnell also expressed disappointment at the fact he had recently purchased a new 4k TV and gaming console, which amongst various other items, wouldn't fit easily in his investment condo.

Mr Burnell further stated that he had paid his previous federal taxes, totaling some $10,000, on a credit card, and for reasons he didn't elaborate on, he hadn't saved any money for his 2019 payments.

The Washington State Department of Revenue indicated Mr Burnell had been the subject of an investigation that he failed to pay business taxes for approximately 3 years. It is understood these fees were back paid, with the help of Mr Burnell's fan base fund raising, & the matter was resolved.

Online search results of Mr Burnell returned some unusual findings, with footage of the current home owner masterbating, threatening to assault an 11 year old girl, and an offensive anti-Semitic rant.

Mr Burnell said that despite his self proclaimed title as the "King of hate", he seeks to stream video games regularly online in an environment that is "positive and chill".

When asked about his unusually pale skin & atrophied body, Mr Burnell didn't respond and said he had to return to his office in the comfort of his 4 bedroom house.

Hey guys, I'm having trouble paying my bills. Can I get some advice?

Is paying $50 a month to watch wrestling more expensive than not doing that?

Is it cheaper to drink tap water instead of bottled water? Also is it cheaper to buy a can of coffee instead of Kick start energy drinks everyday?

I own dozens of cool video game and movie related graphic tee shirts, should I buy more for no reason?

I'm balding and seldom shower. When I do, I just slick back my greasy hair. Should I invest in a $20 pair of clippers or continue to travel out of town to see my personal hair stylist when I need a trim.

I'm not a very good cook. Is it cheaper to learn how to cook or pay for Schwan's premium frozen dinner home delivery?

I love mobile games and hate not winning. How many hundreds of dollars is considered appropriate to spend on phone games while you beg for money?

How many empty condos is too many? How many internet lines?

Thanks for the help in advance!

For a man with a ten year legacy, I'll give it my all.

Is paying $50 a month to watch wrestling more expensive than not doing that?

No. In fact you'd use the money for something else that might be even more expensive, like 100$ instead. So paying 50$ for a wrestling channel means that you have saved up 50$. Fact.

Is it cheaper to drink tap water instead of bottled water?

While bottled water seems to be more expensive at a first look, drinking tap water would lure you in to drinking more and more tap water with time given, raising your water costs, which are quite expensive utility costs in Renton. I wouldn't recommend it. Also, the bad water quality may make your gout come forth again.

Also is it cheaper to buy a can of coffee instead of Kick start energy drinks everyday?

Now you're being silly. Of course a can of coffee is much more expensive. The delivery costs for one delivery from your preferred coffee shop alone will cost you more than ten drives to your local best buy, picking up those delicious Kickstarters. Left alone the costs for the coffee itself. Also, you would have do deal with the delivery boy at the door, who might even be a detractor. Stay away!

I own dozens of cool video game and movie related graphic tee shirts, should I buy more for no reason?

For no reason? No. But if you have a reason (depression, too little ogre sex, no ogre sex, too much ogre sex, ogre sex, gin gone (because of ogre sex), boredom, too much money at hand, just can afford it), go on and buy to your heart's content.

I'm balding and seldom shower. When I do, I just slick back my greasy hair. Should I invest in a $20 pair of clippers or continue to travel out of town to see my personal hair stylist when I need a trim.

In fact you should have your coiffeur come over to your house and not the other way around. It's what all famous people do to show others they are successful.

I'm not a very good cook. Is it cheaper to learn how to cook or pay for Schwan's premium frozen dinner home delivery?

You don't have the time to cook, so I see little to no alternative there. But maybe you could use the delivery service of your local fast food temples? It would match the frozen dinner prices, but would also be much more healthy, as this would be healthy, freshly made food and not unhealthy processed food that stayed god knows how long in cold storage. Real talk.

I love mobile games and hate not winning. How many hundreds of dollars is considered appropriate to spend on phone games while you beg for money?

As much as your supporters can afford. Pro-tip: ask them for google play card codes on top of their regular donations.

How many empty condos is too many?

For a grown up man there isn't such a thing as having too much girlfriends, gin bottles, useless gimmicks, greased water closets or empty condos. Always remember: your today empty condo may be a shelter for those in need another day. Especially if those means you.

How many internet lines?

Landlines? One for business, one for private use, one as backup for the business line. No backup for the private line - that would be wastefullness.

Hope I could be of help. Keep up the good fight.
