IIRC He was busted on lying to the FBI, however one of the agents that interviewed him is Deranged T-1000 and there has be theorizing that his case has been on hold for so long cause there wasn't really one.

I was trying to write up a thread for it but for some damned reason no matter what I did every single thread I tried to start had all of the text formatted to strike-through, and I could not find any way to remove it no matter what I did, even if I deleted the entire thing and re-typed it by hand, so fuck it, here's the Sentencing Memo for the Flynn case.

What I think is the most interesting is how it goes:

"The defendent provided firsthand information about the content and context of interactions between the transition team and Russian government officials," the addendum reads. "For example, after the election, the defendent communicated with the Russian ambassador to the United States as a representative of the transition team on two sensitive matters: A United Nations Security Council vote on a resolution calling for Israel to cease settlement activities in Palestinian territory, and the Obama Administration's imposition of sanctions and other measures on Russia for interfering in the 2016 election."​

And then it went on to cite a fucking Washington Post story about how Flynn is "possibly violating the Logan Act." Since when does the Logan Act apply to Presidential transition teams, who are always going to be contacting members of foreign governments purely as a matter of course? The fact that they'd even suggest it's applicable in situations like this while completely overlooking instances where members of the previous administration like John Kelly were blatantly violating this "act" is absolutely ridiculous.

If the National Security Adviser for the current administration isn't allowed to negotiate with foreign ambassadors as a part of the transition team, who the Hell is?

That felt like a very awkward citation in a legal document. However, what I found to be even more interesting was there part where Flynn (or his company) did work for Etrogan shortly after the fake coup and didn't report it.

Now it's been a while and I'm not 100% sure I remember, but wasn't Turkey very much on the side of the Syrian Rebels? That would be very much opposed to Russian interests.

That's how the leftists push their viewpoint. They push their loyal institutions as infallible, pure, and worthy of trust without thought. Because it's all about suppressing individual thought and all about subsuming yourself to the collective, led by and guided by these institutions. Hell it's one of the reasons they're turning on Ocasio-Cortez so hard... she may be a far left collectivist, but she's not melding into their established collective.

Faux-rightists generally try to accomplish something similar with appeals to individuality while actually encouraging you to be an individual like everyone else. That's why Fox News loves to bandy about its rebel status while actually being so consistently well-rated and popular that it's certainly in no threat of being taken down any time soon. While they are distinctly in the minority, they're still extremely mainstream and highly popular, they're not wildcards in the press any more than Bernie Sanders is a mustang among the Democrats. They're rule-abiding rebels at best.

No. Turkey was very much on the side of ISIS - or more specifically, they were on the side of anyone who was against the Kurds and not Assad. That also just happens to the side that was selling them smuggled oil extremely cheaply.
