Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I want to believe this is bottom of the barrel trolling but its so hard to tell these days..

Severe case of TDS. I only scrolled through one week of his history but it's all about Trump.

reddit is pretty much ground zero for those afflicted with TDS these days. That's not even the first time I've seen people say that Trump is worse than the Trail Of Tears or the Japanese internment camps. These people have lost their grip on reality. When Meuller comes back with nothing on Trump many of these people are probably going to kill themselves. I'm not exaggerating either. There are regular posts about people suffering from depression/anxiety and drinking to the point of health problems because Trump is president. I would dismiss them as trolls but the post history always goes back a couple of years of almost daily bitching.

I drop in on /r/shitpoliticssays about once a week and it never ceases to amaze me.

The majority of people using "fascist" to describe Trump couldn't define fascism in a way that would match it's historical impacts, especially since Mussolini was congratulated by Stalin upon coming to power.

Not to mention the whole National Socialist German Workers Party part of the NSDAP thing.

The same could be said for “white nationalist” and “alt-right”. They are used as catch-all phrases to describe people that don’t follow leftist ideology.

To them
Alt-right= any conservative or republican/anyone that supports Trump

White nationalist=anyone wanting border protection and to have stricter immigration laws (not saying there aren’t people who are actual white nationalists, but most of the time it’s misused)

It's just more kayfabe.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Fascism sort of born out of the failure of communism to manifest through WW1 and the proletariat not rising up? I seem to recall that Mussolini wrote on that topic and that fascism was an alternative but similar path to move away from capitalism.
Fascism was portrayed as the third way, an escape from the materialism of capitalism and communism

And here I am thinking that FDR was America's greatest president for subverting its institutions for the good of the people.

Fun fact about Andrew Jackson: He had an adopted Cherokee son that he wanted to enroll into WestPoint but couldn't and he was not the one who ordered the Trail of Tears, it was just followed through under his presidency.

Before ww1 Mussolini ran a socialist newspaper but during ww1 he was paid by the British to become a pro-war/pro-entente socialist.

Fascism is the idea that every citizen should basically exist to serve the state before everything else and the idea is that the greater good is served by that selflessness. Fascism failed miserably in Italy despite the "trains ran on time meme" and the fact that they got raped in ww2 should prove that. In 1934 Mussolini said that there was no Aryan race. In 1934 Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany hated eachother because they were fighting for influence over Austria.

Race? It is a feeling, not a reality. Ninety-five per cent, at least. Nothing will ever make me believe that biologically pure races can be shown to exist today.… National pride has no need of the delirium of race
-Mussolini

He became oddly racist after 1940, almost as though he was an opportunist.

National Socialism was actually just overtly racist socialism with some weird spiritual stuff I can't really describe. In 1934 Hitler purged the Brown Shirts and with that the socialism ended up just being in name only. Hitler did this to align himself with the military (which was conservatives, think aristocrats) and huge corporations like Krupp industries who opposed collectivization. The leader of the Brown Shirts was Ernst Rohm, a #proud #gay man who wanted to nationalize all industries and replace the army with a peoples militia with no ranks.

Hitler's "socialism" was stuff like vouchers for cars and radios. People never got the cars because of the war but those mechanics programs they all took preparing for that glorious day when they would get their first family car sure proved useful during ww2. Fun fact: Most tanks in ww2 were destroyed by mechanical failures.

I love how communist sympathizers use communism as a cudgel against the orange man.

The Democrats that do this are making a statement more about Russia, pandering to old peoples cold war fears.

Them calling him gay all of the time is odd. You'd think they'd be the first to decry using homosexuality to attack a mans masculinity.

The "weird spiritual stuff" was based on Germanic paganism and Ariosophy. Mein Kampf itself included terms such as Cruel God of Misery, Almighty Creator, and Fate, although it is unknown how much of this Hitler believed himself. There is Esoteric Nazism, Positive Christianity, and occult elements in Nazism as well.

Fascists tend to dislike Christianity and tend view it in a Nietzschian way as too pussy and egalitarian.
