Narcissism, ignorance, and entitlement. He treats the chat pretty much as the modern equivalent of calling in Nintendo Power, so if they aren't on hand at all times to bail him out, then Pigroach gets testy and starts to oink about how they need to focus on the game. His narcissism comes in because he hates not being the main topic of the chat, so when it spirals off into talking about weird shit, he just acks or does his new fruit laugh a bit and asks them to talk about the game instead, since he's too self centered to bother asking them about what the fuck they're talking about. Lastly the entitlement; Pigroach honks and snorts in tardrage if his Pigcult doesn't give him enough money and relies on calling it interaction to avoid being directly called out by them as a greedy fuck.

The Pigcult reallign because they see this as an exclusive club where you have to deal with a drunk fuck-up of an owner and so do so... until Dave slights them personally.

Agreed @Stalker Sociopath they actually take it pretty seriously too because it is highly incriminating. It is interesting though since like 2016-17 Phil has danced around fraud and tax fraud multiple times. The I need 10k - moves in Kat and announces it like fucking 2 days after.
The 16k - talks about wanting to marry Khet in the same stream like literally 5 minutes less after HOW CAN YOU BE SO FUCKING STUPID. His stupidity really astounds me sometimes its like worse than Chris'. The worst part is we know he wants to go to disney land and propose to Khet because he wanted to do that with Leanne. He is ultra doubling down on the detractors lately like mega because that is all he has.
He cant do the I am poor because people are not falling for it now, clearly because since he wanted 16k his income has not really changed at all really probs worse tbh. He needs about an extra 4k a month taking out november AND APRIL however because of how twitch payment works he gets January in March and March in May.

Unless the evidence of his wrongdoing is ironclad all he needs to do is deny consistently and his supporters will believe him.

You can't stop a idiot being an idiot. The fact he flat-out admitted it was true is proof though that he was planning to essentially rob his viewers. I don't know another way of putting it. He wouldn't have revealed the massive donation, he would've pretended it didn't happen all the while acting like he still needed the full amount. If the people watching him, regularly donating to him unironically are fine with supporting what is the biggest cunt move he's pulled in a long time, then they deserve to lose every penny.

That's the most hilarious thing about this. He could have gotten away with denying the whole thing and saying people were faking emails to get him in trouble. People were still skeptical of the whole thing until he admitted it was true. He's so desperate to make himself the victim that he did more harm to himself than that email did.

2) The guy was obviously implying to not make it public, however he did actually encouraged you to "let people know that a fan was able to help you out!". When I read the sentence, (if he was actually a fan, and not a troll), he "encouraged" you to do so. So, despite your intent to protect him from being doxxed/harassed, why didn't you take into consideration his wishes of "telling that someone helped you out"?
I'd be grateful if you answer these 2 questions honestly, since it's the only thing that's a little bit confusing, even to someone who's trying to be as logical and open minded as possible."

Everyone here can reproduce how Dave writes. And he writes like he talks. He's that simple minded and predictable.
So I won't doubt a mindless drone (fan) who hears him way more often than we do, would adapt to the same speech patterns and wrong facts.

This latest misadventure aside, I think the mistake Phil made this time was setting too big of a goal. While he might need $16K for his taxes, save the house, marry the Kat, take a staycation, visit his possibly someday dying parents, or whatever the fuck, asking for that much is too much for anyone to think they're making a difference. If you ask for $2000, one of his whales can donate a chunk of that and think they actually did something to "help". If you ask for an insurmountable total (and as others have said, I expect him to walk that number back and somehow survive tax time), no one is motivated because there's nothing they can do (feels bad man).

Insecure liars often do it because they are desperate to make sure you don't call them out on it, and Pigroach is one of the biggest. Also the only thing he's reasonably good at, which you can thank due to his years of trying to excuse away his losses in arcade games since he was a sped kid who grew up into a sped adult who thought the FGC was cool.

I'll point out now that denying wrongdoing has become an art form for this man. Nothing I could do. I did nothing wrong, indeed.

Life has given Phil all the rope he needs to hang himself. Cranking it on stream wasn't an isolated incident. He'll shove both feet in his mouth all on his own. If this was a ruse, sure, you got Nich to leave, but time has shown that Phil manages to find new whales as he loses them, and he's never going to provide tard cum over losing a supporter. He'll just call them a detractor or a troll, ban them and move on.

I think you're confusing "trolling" with "trying to make his fans all leave him". As I said before, I don't think most of his fans really buy his bullshit. So if you think only trolling moves that will "make the believers see the light" should be used... that's never going to happen. They either think he's funny in his lies, or they're idiots like Sidella.

To me, the trolling is about effectiveness and entertainment value. This one had a damned high score for those.

Yeah as he was writing that Twitlonger I was on here like "I dunno man, that seems pretty dumb even for Dark, and emails are super easy to fake." But then here he is, confirming it all. He had plausible deniability, there have been efforts to fake things like this before. Just say "Dunno what you're talking about guys!" if someone mentions it in chat and ignore it. Super easy, barely an inconvenience.
