I want to call the a humble brag but I feel like it's really missing the "humble" part.

I also don't understand her method of unlocking characters in that game, since that's objectively not how it works. Which leads me to believe Brianna wasted an hour doing an unlock technique they misunderstood and didn't bother checking to clarify when it didn't work the first 15 tries.

I admit I don't have much knowledge on this subject, but surely most victims of sex trafficking do not have bank accounts? Why the hell would a sex trafficker make sure his victims--usually illegally-immigrated foreign women--set up personal local bank accounts, somehow under the women's own names despite the fact that they are not supposed to be in the country they are being sold in, only to immediately transfer the money out of their accounts to his own account? I am absolutely failing to see the logic in any of this.

Side note on this, I witnessed an interesting wikisperg over this policy related to a poet I know. Since before he started being a published author he always used a stage name. It only proved to me never to get into Wikipedia, I'm a semi-pro :autism: when compared to those champions.

I don't think that's the pattern sex traffickers use. Funneling large transactions through a small number of accounts, buying anonymous financial instruments with those accounts, and continuous large ATM withdrawals over the course of days from those accounts would seem likelier.

Of course, there are non-criminal activities that could be linked to such a pattern. It would require a lot of intrusion into financial privacy to distinguish that.

And the paranoid inside my brain says that's the exact point of this political push.

Yes, every sex worker has been saying it for decades! A more likely scenario than John becoming a full-on movement conservative is that the Republican Party absolutely craters itself and he tries to hop into the smoking wreckage as a founding member of "The NEW solutions-oriented Republican Party!" He can get his friends to commission some puff pieces in the media about the hip young (lol) tech-savvy up-and-comers turning the Republicans into a 21st-century party of Silicon Valley tech dudebros with hearts of gold. Frame it like an Ocasio-Cortez thing where they may be nominally party members but willing to rain down fire on their own leadership if they don't get their own goals met.

I don't see John making a huge ideological swing though, because one of his ground rules is that he won't associate with anyone willing to drop the F-bomb... that is, "Flynt".
