I mean I don't think that rule could really hold up considering Will Wheaton and Felicia Day got a thread.
 
I think Christian Bale deserves a worthy mention for his autistic outburst at the DP on the set of Terminator Salvation. I don't know what made him look like more of a lolcow in that incident: the fact that he was so upset over somebody touching some lights, or the fact that he was so emotionally involved in such a forgettable, uninspired cash in of a film.

True, which begs the question as to why we don't just move Tara's thread to the lolcow subforum if Randy and the Wil/Felicia threads were made there. Or even why more celebs get threads for that matter. I mean we technically count people like MovieBob, Enter, MatPat and their ilk as "celebrities" to some degree, and they get their own subforum (with Chris and DSP getting their own too). So why shaft the Hollywood folk?

yeah another one: james woods can veer into off in that direction but then always distinguishes himself in the nick of time by helping out rednecks in tennessee (or some other godforsaken place he goes fishing) with jumper cables and extra gas. or recently, helped to coordinate firefighters in southern Cal, very righteous. then in another month he'll go off on some fucked up political thing. and the cycle continues.

i love movie 'videodrome' & always was impressed that the killer finale was his idea.

I recently re-watched his meltdown at Sam Harris on Bill Maher (I hadn't watched the original video for ages - I've just heard Sam talk about it on podcasts and in interviews) and I'd forgotten just how bad it was. A minute after Sam starts talking, Ben starts snarling and gnashing at him like a fucking lunatic. Apparently he was on steroids at the time which may have made him behave erratically, but I have no trouble believing this is to some extent his usual personality:

I agree. Woods can sometimes appear to be entering cow territory, but he's smart enough and enough of a genuinely nice person to not be a total cow.

To highlight some people who are cows not because of their political sperging but for other reasons, what about Adam Sandler? He relies solely on a business model where he makes crappy films on purpose just so he can keep the money in the huge budgets for these films for himself and his friends.

He's been critically slaughtered for it, he's been shamed for other practices in relation to these films and he just appears to be growing more and more miserable with each film he does.

TBH I think that most of the hate for him is just because of those Half in the Bag meme videos (and frankly he's made better films than any of the Red Letter Media garbage like Feeding Frenzy and Space Cop).

Nepotism, financial scams and shitty films made to pander to the lowest common denominator are pretty much the norm for Hollywood.
 
Michael Jackson was totally a lolcow and if the forum existed earlier and didn't have the "no celebrities" rule he'd probably have a 200+ page thread here. Talented guy without a doubt, but he was also a chandler-tier manchild when he wasn't performing.
