A lot of people have made excellent indie games with a team of just one or two people. I know firsthand that it’s difficult, but it is certainly doable. However, I don’t have much faith in Eevee’s game for obvious reasons.

Maybe because that's exactly how Glip treats him irl, admitting Papaya's behaviour is abusive would mean he's wrong to be defending her and ignoring all her previous friends' warnings.

Maybe she got distracted by a game or something? The radio silence is weird, tho. We should have heard something about a hiatus due to "bullying" or some other bullshit if she had been chased off again.

There's a whole lot that could be pointed out here, but I'd like to draw attention specifically to this line:
"His writing really is shit. Come on, anyone could have written that boring garbage."
He says it like that's an objective fact, but come on now - was anyone seriously thinking that? Was Quill thinking that? Would he have thought that if Papaya didn't scream it in his face for ten minutes? Would it have been such a horrible thing if he was self-confident about his abilities, or even recognized in a healthy way that he had some improvements to make? Why does he need Papaya to scream at him until he thinks he's a talentless piece of shit?

If you're such a great writer, then you don't rely on the fucking comments section to explain what your characters are supposed to be saying or reacting to. This plus the "2deep4u it'll make perfect sense later" writing makes this comic even more insufferable.
Also these are the exact same people who scream that we need to create safe spaces so that bad feelings never hurt snowflakes and all the "u r valid uwu" bullshit, but when PK has characters that purposefully try to hurt another's feelings it's okay because they don't want PK to ban them from making comments on the site?

Opas entire explanation falls flat on two things:
-If Quill and Papaya have such a rich history together, if they have been friends and/or coworkers for such a long time, why is she just now getting pissy with him? He was hired to write things for Papayas shop, so he either had the qualifications for it or she deemed him as such a good friend she just hired him due to that. Yet she calls what he wrote shit and tells him he is a shitty friend for not instantly getting over his issues to show feelings.
As mentioned before, friends should not yell at you for having some sort of issue with showing feelings. It does not help the person in the slightest. If Opa is defending this, then only because PK keeps ensuring that its for "his own good", aka, just as Papaya is implying too. She is "not doing this for her, but for him".
-If abusive relationships are based on taking power, then yes, Papaya IS abusive. She is his boss, she can take away his job if she ever wants to. She tells him whether something is shit or not, she alone dictates what is okay to write. She says that she doesn't want something catering to her, yet Quill even points out that that is exactly what she wants. She treats him like shit but then turns around to make it look as if she cares about him. She yells at him, because she has to "put him in place" even thought Quill appears to want to be better, he is just scared of showing feelings. But according to Papaya that fact makes him a shitty friend, so lets yell at him a bit more and let it appear as if Quill is nearing a mental breakdown.

This just comes to show how awful writer glip really is, if anything that Opa said is actually true (spoiler: it is not) then glip did a pissy job on showing it of, you know, like visual media is supossed to do, heck it gets even worse since she actually got the completely opposite reaction from her audience.
If you need to explain shit to your audience in such long textwalls, you're doing something incredibly wrong.
If anything this just comes to show that Opa is indeed marl's replacement as glip's attack dog.

Y'know, with how staunchly Opa seems to believe that Papaya is in the right and how vehemently he defends this incredibly abusive relationship, I'm rather worried for that kind of ideals and expectations he's teaching his daughter when off the Internet.
