I used to watch Eugenia and AL and try to guess who's body would fail first. My guess used to be Eugenia, but that's changed since ALs recent dramatic weight gain in such a short period of time. To think AL believes she would die of starvation in two weeks, when there is a medically documented case of an obese man water fasting with sporadic vitamin supplements for a year until he hit his desired weight. It would be months before she even needed vitamin supplements. I think that man started off weighing less than she does now. I'd have to pull it up again. Who in the world told her she would die in two weeks without food? Why does she believe it when it's obviously not true? It might be the only thing that could salvage her health at this point.

That was a really interesting story.
It really puts Big AL's sheer mass into perspective when you read how long (in extreme cases) people who are that fat can live off just themselves and fluids.
At her size, a short term fast with water and tea would probably be a good start into a weight loss directed lifestyle. But we all know that won't damn well happen.

Even if she managed to loose a big chunk of weight, her recovering and being truly healthy is very slim (no pun intended). She maybe young but even age can't heal a possibly malformed skeleton, extensive nerve damage and possible heart disease. I mean her poor heart has had to most likely deform its self so it can get blood to all 600lbs of her, if she doesn't have an enlarged heart I would be very shocked.

It depends, blood isn't always a sign of colon cancer and blood doesn't need to be there for it to be cancer. Blood can be sign of other types of cancer like rectal and stomach cancer (it depends on how red the blood is).

Big AL and others assume the mistake that she will die at 40-60, but this is not true.
The rate at which she is gaining and the consequences from her actions, will put her death 29-35, and even that is a fat stretch.

Could be dysenterie. I have seen 2 people losing ghastly amounts of blood through dysenterie (combined with extreme weightloss in later stages, so not likely to be Amber, then again not like she needs an appetite to eat). That usually builds up and you can see some hints of blood earlier on and people blame boils. Requires one to be a tad attentive to their excrement, as nauseating as that may be. Bad hygiene is the big one there, and Thumb and Bullfrog may not be that hygienic. Perhaps other parasites. Spastic colon can also at times cause a bit of bloodloss, though rare. There are others, Crohns, a polip, maybe some of her meds. Anal fissures and sexual infections can also cause it but I do not think she needs to worry about those.
The higher up in the tract you bleed, the darker the blood gets. Stomach cancer means your blood is about black.

No. She's a fat glutton who wasn't raised/socialized properly. If she had any issues as serious as that it would have been diagnosed while she was still a kid/teen.

I'm willing to bet the level of hygiene with Hamber and Becky is about Nil, where as with Rickie and Eric it's at least normal, probably above Normal.
Remember, Rickie works in a slaughter house and they would make sure their employees know all about hygiene etc. He probably can get checked for infections etc for free and does. I've never worked in one or any thing, but given they work with tons of dead animals I suspect there is laws in place they have to offer free checks if any thing is amiss.
Honestly I bet Becky was pretty hygienic too, it's really that she lives in the same space as Hamber that is ruining her chance at not being covered in nasty, possibly literal, shit.

Every room she is in there is Febreeze spray. This has been a constant since the Dusty days.
She would buy 3 or 4 sprays at once not to mention all the wax melts and room/rug sprays.
When Dusty left and moved out to Dana's she let Twinkie and the cats shit and piss everywhere. The smell must have been horrifying/couple that with her skunk perfumes with her mixing two different scents for god only knows what reason and the scented lotions and three different wax warmers running at the same time with different scents in them, glade plug-ins as well as candles going and of course her horrible hygiene.
It must have smelled like Macy's perfume counter during winter with the heat cranking right next to the bathroom.

All jokes aside, that is a genuinely bad thing. She needs to get checked if she wants to survive 2019. She will in all likelihood not get that done however. 2019, the year kiwifarms drove Amberlynn to suicide by means of food.

Oh I agree entirely. Wounds healing that slowly is a big concern. And her refusal to admit she's got these issues means she's not treating wounds the way they need to be treated.
Even in a healthy person, you would not want to leave a scratch like that to scab. You'd keep it moist and bandaged. Considering it is also likely a cat scratch, holy FUCK that's the kind of bacteria you don't mess around with. Even in a healthy person, cat scratches that break the skin are dangerous.
But we wouldn't have this thread if headed-for-the-Amberlaynce gave two shits about caring for her body. :V

What makes me believe her when she said she's a skin picker is that her wounds get bigger. There's more going on there than just slow healing. She can turn a tiny cat scratch or flea bite into a small gaping wound. That's from her obsessively picking at it.
