I’m convinced the decorative metal object on the desk is the key to determining if Kat’s “office” is a bedroom or a game room. What is Phil sitting on?

I'm triggered by the setup squeazed in this corner. There is a reason tables aren't V shaped like that.

google maps says its a 20 min drive.

is it possible our totally sick and broke boy dark took his future wifey to a fancy italian restuarant for an expensive christmas eve dinner? "authentic italian cuisine" is right up our boys ally.

i checked the guy who posted twitter real quick and it didnt seem like a detractor, seemst into soccer and speaks spanish or portogese. doesnt mean he doesnt currently live or visiting the seattle area.

Maggiano’s is a half step up from Olive Garden, and would be an insult to a true I-talian legend like Phil.

as much as i believe both dark and tut got to keep the money, it would explain why dark was not over the moon for the $12k in gifted subs. because he knows they can be taken away if the person says their credit card was stolen. i really dont think this htough, i believe they both got to keep their money and CC company/twitch ate it.

as far as proof of life goes this is terrible. nothing to prove it was taken even this month. its also funny they are so paranoid about trolls and detractors that they used a picture of a blank screen... probably worried someone could find some snippet of info on the screen to track down her account and contact her. he is so worried a detractor could have an unfiltered conversation with her, just like scientology.

even more reason for it to be true. that is EXACTLY the kind of place i would expect Phil to bring his mare and think its totally authentic italian. im sure if he needed to find authentic polish piroggies he would have no issues though.

So, over/under on an impromptu Christmas Day begathon? Or are we just going to see the usual spate of gin-soaked passive-aggressive tweets subtly dropping the hint that his pigs aren't tithing enough?

WELL DONE catching that. We have been speculating that Dark got a 5 year ARM (Basically an adjustable rate mortage that is fixed ror the first 5 years and then is adjustable possibly causing a large baloon payment). it explains why he is so desperate to refinance (2019 would be year 5) and why he is so worried and has these otehr behind the scenes things he wont tell us about related to finances. it also explains why he wants tips so bad right now before 12/31 so it can go on his 2018 income taxes to help get the refinance approved.

both those theories just got a +1 in my book.

ROFL, i literally broke out laughing when i read that. that is how funny the phrase "surprise stream" is to me when paired with dark. he would NEVER do something like that. This is the same autist who has a whiteboard calendar of all the releases and when he will play them and religiously posts a schedule on twitter that no one looks at or uses and updates it daily. the same guy who clocks out almost every day exactly on time even if someone is in the middle of gifting him $2500 in subs.

I dont believe phil is fully autistic but he is on the spectrum and is obsession with schedules is part of it. he likely keeps a schedule for the toy train in the basement as well.

I think part of it has to do with him only wanting to work as much as possible - he clearly hates his self-employed job.

Him keeping a rigid schedule is all part of him trying to maintain the "I'm a grown adult with a real job," thing going. If he stopped doing it then he would realize that he's just an almost 40-year old man playing games for children who throw quarters and dollars at him. Not only that but he thinks that if he doesn't tell everyone when he's doing something then nobody will show up. Whether this is true or not has yet to be seen, but he'd be going a long way with his fans if he just popped up on one of his days off and started playing a game. Now that I think about it, that also wouldn't work because it would take too long for people to show up and he couldn't do his hour long pre stream.

From the reflection in the pic you can see Dark is standing in the doorway or the hallway. There doesn't appear to be another chair in her "office". We know from multiple videos how DSP rocks back and forth while standing and how he complains about being in his feet for an extended amount if time.

I would guess that this is just Phil's way of proving that Kat is still there and he didn't actually spend much if any time watching her play.

It is very strange that Kat would want to spend Christmas eve playing Assassin's Creed alone on her tiny computer screen when there is an entire professional gaming studio with ample seating for two in the next room.

as @WeeblesWobble said, he is a grown adult with a real job and that is a big boy office, not a play room. i put money that he wont let her do anything in there when he isnt streaming.

People do show up to his streams when he's not live and wonder where he is, so people use his schedule but don't read his Twitter to get updates.

I have this mental image of Phil sneaking into her room and grabbing this photo while she's unaware so he can post on Instagram. Either that or it was Shopped. It's a coin toss.
