Jesus H. Christ... such vitriol, such projection. Also kind of optimistic about the Global Warming thing, not that the US can do much with India and China, plus the biofuel empire turning Indonesia into the #4 leader in carbon emission... Almost like we shouldn't knee-jerk into things or something on that last one. Nevermind the US led in reduced carbon emission last time I checked, don't know if we still are or not.

Either way I'm a proponent of nuclear energy.

If you care about the environment, dump all the money that would go into destroying industry in the US and Europe and put into into putting out the underground coal fires in the US, Canada, India and China. It will have a bigger effect on CO2 emissions, will actually demonstratably improve the environment, and won't simply be a front for having useful idiots allow you to send jobs to places with zero worker protections.

But that actually solves a problem, and doesn't let you be visibly """"""helping""""" so fuck that.

Besides the #woke politics, SA LPers are bitter as SA used to be the "home" of let's players but none of them were ever successful at it. None of the LPers there make more than $10k/year (with the average being way, way lower) from LP/Streams meanwhile PewDiePie is worth $20,000,000.

It's the same reasons most SA GameDevs don't like Notch/TobyFox and why Lowtax doesn't like other website administrators/websites.

On the surface it's because he sometimes makes "problematic" jokes; but the real truth is that they're jealous that he got a shout out from pewdiepie (and the subsequent free press and subscriber spike).

To contextualize it, e;r was already a healthy channel but got a surge of roughly ~80,000 subs (moving him to 280,000) from the controversy, plus a ton of views.

Nine Gear Crow, the person complaining has 1,078 subscribers and has been uploading for ~6 years (and is also an important person on the SA LP board). Meaning e;r gained more subs in two weeks than Nine Gear Crow is likely to have within 5 centuries.

I'm sure it's just a healthy concern for the young "gen z shitstains" that he just doesn't want to see end up become raging nazi fascist bigots. Or something. (Lack of) Success breeding jealousy has been a running theme since that board was founded a decade ago. Back when youtube was starting to come into its own the Important People on SA were just going phsaw at those upstarts who didn't respect that you had to be a member of the let's play forum on SA to *really* do a let's play. They're basically the spaniards slowly waking up to the fact that their empire has been gone for centuries and Spain is now a poor underdeveloped shithole.

I was perma'd a while ago through the admin panel so these came through a source. so I can't, because even I don't know

e: and anyone who thinks I'm going to waste money re-registering to a site full of stupid people whose guts I hate is nuts.

I've always gotten a creepy vibe off Slowbeef, doesn't surprise me that he's raising money for a leftist organisation that rapes and disfigures children.

The sad thing is that, given the people he associates with, his own kids have low odds of getting through their childhoods without being molested (and that's being generous and assuming that Slowbeef isn't already fucking them himself).
