Is there a chance he's sick all the time BECAUSE he never leaves the house? Maybe the air circulation is bad?

Of course, this is taking DSP at his word that he's actually sick and this isn't some super secret vacation, but DSP brings enough lulz where I feel like we don't have to make up random conspiracies (while still retaining critical thinking of course).

Does he not have a health insurance plan at all? I’m interested in the penalty for not having health insurance in Washington state.

I'm assuming that Phil is banking on his fanbase being as socially awkward as he is and instead of going out and enjoying the day with friends/family will instead stay home and throw thousands of dollars at him instead.

It's federal. $695 per person or 2.5% of yearly income. Whichever is bigger. It's supposed to drop next year, I believe but he would have to pay 2018 fees.

So Phil says that the final symptom of "muh common cold" is SEVERE CHOKING. Excuse me but what the fuck? Says he was up till 4am because he was choking so bad. I have had some bad colds but I don't think I've ever choked because of it. Why doesn't he just snort it all out like he normally does? Someone suggested he had strep and he says "I don't have strep, I've had it as a kid, it's just a bad cold." How the fuck would you know?

I've said it before here, but what he's talking about is apnea, which being overweight and a heavy drinker both exacerbate.

SO being that he makes over $100k a year for him it would be AT LEAST $2500 a year tax penalty if he doesnt have insurance but he claims he does.

That being said, didnt Trump do an executive order that killed the individual mandate?

You don't pay for insurance and also pay 2k for a fucking urgent care visit.

Shit costs 25-50 bucks on damn near any insurance plan.

All I can think of was in 2015 he either didn't have insurance or went to the hospital for his cold.

25 bucks visit, maybe 10 bucks for meds if the doctor doesnt recommend nyquil.

Less than this dumbass spent on his Extra Special Tradition Chinese.

Yes, I believe so, but it won't go away until 2019.
