Bob sperging out as usual that no one giving a shit about Tomb Raider anymore because gamers are "man haters" and Lara has developed as a strong independent woman or some bullshit.

I might have to start watching Bob videos again. They were (and still are) too long and saying little, but that video was good simply for showing the mental knots Bob has tangled himself in to keep his ideology straight.

It's pretty simple. Lara Croft was an adventurer with big tits and hot pants. It was Indiana Jones but sexy. It was a formula that printed money and was backed up by the games being well made and well liked.

She can't be weak, black people have to be the star, but most damning is you can't raid tombs in a game called Tomb Raider because that's problematic, and problematic people can't be role models for little girls which she also has to be.

Honestly. The old Tomb Raider games have aged like unfrigerated yogurt.
Even though the reboot series turned "woke", the 2013 reboot is a solid action adventure that is still plays and looks decent. The tombs are far more interesting in the new series (save the aggressively recycled Shadow of The Tomb Raider), and Tomb Raider and Rise of The Tomb Raider, in my opinion, are far more explorative and much more interactive than most of the games of the Uncharted series.
Although the trailer for the new movie looked like dogshit (Alicia Vikander seems in sleep mode).

Dude, don't let the gaming media fool you, the reboot series is far from " SJW woke", and the first two are dirt cheap solid action adventures.
Mind you, if the new games don't tickle your fancy because they look formulaic, more power to you, they are.
New Lara is far more generic than Old Lara, but I am a fag that prefers gameplay over story, I'd rather play these games over anything Naughty Dog ever produced.
