Honestly. The old Tomb Raider games have aged like unfrigerated yogurt.
Even though the reboot series turned "woke", the 2013 reboot is a solid action adventure that is still plays and looks decent. The tombs are far more interesting in the new series (save the aggressively recycled Shadow of The Tomb Raider), and Tomb Raider and Rise of The Tomb Raider, in my opinion, are far more explorative and much more interactive than most of the games of the Uncharted series.
Although the trailer for the new movie looked like dogshit (Alicia Vikander seems in sleep mode).

I did see the movie (truth be told, I purchased a ticket to see Black Panther for a second time since I had nothing better to do on that day--not that either of them are good--and even though I'm not an MCU fan and I don't even like Black Panther, you still done fucked up when Black Panther is actually a bit more enjoyable than Soy Raider).

Yeah, I wish I missed out--absolutely one of the worst movies of 2018; Alicia proves she's an awful actress (even though she seems like a friendly person in real life--though I haven't met her in real life, so I cannot tell you anything); but yeah, when she's on screen, it seems like she's half-awake and mumbles whenever she speaks; which features a mindless out-of-place cameo from Nick Frost which seems like he's there just to get a weekly paycheck. But unfortunately, similar to how feminists keep making Disney's Star Wars canon despite that they aren't and that they're exact proof that they're dumpster fires, Square Enix and the Tomb Raider fanbase just wants everyone to enjoy the new SJW propaganda piece and if anyone dares to say "it's average" or "it sucks," they'll act like a bunch of eight-year-olds being too defensive and label the criticism as "haters," and they'll defend Tomb Raider just for the namesake.

Which reminds me, I had made a few memes down the line regarding the failure of Tomb Raider nowadays.

...If anything, I'm more looking forward to the next video game crash to happen.

If those cunts took their time instead of releasing 3 games in 5 years (even Uncharted 4 took 4 years), They could release something halfway fucking decent.

I've not played Uncharted 4, but I know it's woke dogshit nobody likes. Watching the cutscenes on YouTube and hearing the stories of the black woman boss fights where it's literally impossible to land a hit are enough.

I think the fact that the Tomb Raider reboots big selling point was "Lara doesn't have big tits any more! Look at all this non-sexy torture and rape!" and the fact it was a flop speaks volumes about it's quality. And even then "It's not as shit as Uncharted." isn't a high barrier given how Uncharted shit the bed so hard with 4 that the series is effectively over.

But if you like the games, more power to you.

For what it's worth, I doubt Bob has played them either. It didn't stop him weighing in on games like Halo or Mass Effect 3 as the supreme authority. But as said, he's now stuck with 2 contradictory narratives. ("Tomb Raider is woke", "Tomb Raider is problematic") and has made a video where his mind is trying to make sense of it in real time.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if we had a separate topic discussing the entire Tomb Raider franchise and where it's headed nowadays. Rise, Shadow, and the Soy Raider film reboot are shit and their toxic fanbase are just as shit. Honestly, I think Anniversary is really damn good while Underworld remains as my favorite in the entire franchise--but stubborn Square Enix rebooted it as an SJW propaganda piece with rabbid fanbase defending it and claiming that it's "better than Uncharted" or "but muh Lara Croft has developed as a strong female lead and fuck the drumpf supporters and fuck the haters."

It's very weird where he places nostalgic value in his memories from when he was a kid. Like when I was a kid I remember going to the movies Friday night's with my friends and grabbing pizza before the show. For me, the nostalgic value when I look back on these memories is in hanging out and having fun with my friends.
