It’s not important, but I wanted to clear up that when I said Lola heard and reacted to a sound, it wasn’t the chair. Something dropped off camera, made a noise, and seemed to startle her.

As for Jaxon, we have a thread here. His noises and everything he does is seizure activity. His nerve endings dead end into nothing so any stimulus causes seizure.

Apparently, his parents are divorced and the days of collecting money are over. No word on how Jaxon is doing but presumably, not well.

Ah, I figured it would be hard to go through puberty without the necessary brain function to trigger hormones and all that fun stuff. Thank you for the suggestion, in all seriousness. I started reading it a few days ago and have since picked up where I left off as it is clear I missed some pertinent information.

As for Jaxon, you're most likely right as I never considered that. I had searched through the FL state death certificate index and didn't see any deaths with either Buell or Strong listed that could have been the kid, as it speculated on other threads. Any word as to why they got divorced? Im not surprised honestly, they never really had a "loving" dynamic, it appeared more like the two of them were putting on a show for the cameras. I had heard they went dark so I did a search or two and hadn't seen anything new. The parents always struck me as odd... Im familiar with Tavares County, its very small, two judges in the county court house kind of place. Backwoods, if you will, in a way. Not that there's anything bad about that, but when I found out that is where they were from I wasn't exactly surprised.

OK. Lemme tackle this one if I may. As a teenager, my parents were hard core bible thumper Baptists. I even went to a tiny Christian School where my Principal offered my parents and exorcism because I was reading Christopher Pike novels. Seriously. They were really into the Pro-Life movement, and had me protesting with them and even volunteering in the Crisis Pregnancy Center. So I have seen both sides of this debate and I think I can give you an answer.

They honestly and whole heartedly believe that As God Wills it, So Shall It Be. Basically that God never gives anyone more then they can handle. If you come up pregnant, then God willed it, and who are YOU to mess with God's Plan? Incest, rape, disfunction, severe disability, unwanted..... doesn't matter. You laid down and got with child, you you better believe that God has a plan for that child, and you can not go against God's Plan. To do so is anathema and Evil. To end the life of a child is the worst sin ever, and even if it is a child of rape or incest, well..... God put that child in you to teacher you something. Every child and life is a precious thing, and to kill it is murder, and murder is a sin and a crime.

There was a teenager at the school I went to that was pregnant from her uncle raping her. No lie. The parents forced her to carry and raise it. She went a bit Barmy in the end, and committed suicide. The child ended up being raised by her parents (his grandparents) and he was raised being told he was a miracle but "Born unto sinful means" and left it at that. That kid now works at the Crisis Center and uses his story as a weapon against abortion. While I am glad he has his story to tell and has made peace with it, I wonder how his mother would have been, had she been permitted to have that abortion? Would she still be alive?

The anti abortion movement is a cancer. They tout being "prolife" but only until after birth. After that they don't give a shit. Once that baby is popped out you are shit out of their minds, and left to fend on your own. There is no agency that assists mothers after their prolife child has come. And that is the worst part. "YOU HAVE TO LET THE CHILD LIVE! DON'T MURDER BABBY! GOD HAS A PLAN!!! Oh good! You had the baby! 《 shakes hand 》have a nice life!" And punts you out the door.

They use the most horrific images to guilt and horrify you onto their side, but fail when it comes to the hard part, raising the child of rape, incest, or that you are mentally unfit or unprepared to care for. Fuck them.

The Status Epilepticus suggestion is particularly interesting because someone further up the thread already mentioned Benzodiazepines being used by the parents and according to the wiki article you linked to they are also used to treat that condition. Perhaps, horrifically, a doctor has explained to them that their child is experiencing seizures and has furnished them with drugs to make him more comfortable and they are simply refusing to accept/ lying about the situation.

Or are taking the drugs themselves, which I wouldn't doubt in the least.

I dont think there's anything public about Brandon and Brittney's divorce, but from their public Facebook posts, I was able to find a little bit of an update on their living situation and Jaxon. It was mostly Brandon's FB, since Brittany keeps most of hers private. However she did make one public post looking for a weekend nurse for Jaxon. I posted it in the general tard thread here in the Beauty Parlor. The following is pretty much all I found and there havent been any updates since last month, but as of July Jaxon is still alive and living with his mom in NC, while Brandon is back in Florida and doesnt seem to visit Jaxon very frequently at all.

A while back, some of us were wondering what became of Jaxon Buell and his parents. They were huge media/attention whores for the first few years of Jaxon's life, then seemed to drop off the face of the earth.
The consensus was that they had split up, but there wasn't much info, except an ad on some shopping/selling site from Brittany in which she was trying to sell a wedding/engagement ring set, presumably her own.
Then there were a rumors that they had put Jaxon in a care facility and that he was no longer living with either parent.
Some recent info from their Facebooks confirms that Brandon and Brittany Buell have definitely split up. I dont know if they are officially divorced, in the middle of getting one or legally separated, but they are now living in different states. Brandon apparently moved back to Mount Dora, Florida where his parents live and Brittany is living in Wilmington North Carolina, which is where they had moved a few years ago when they were last together.

The rumors about Jaxon being in a hospital or care facility aren't true or if they were true at one time, they aren't now. Jaxon currently lives with Brittany and she appears to have sole custody of him. When Brandon and Brittany were together, she had quit her job to stay home and care for Jaxon full time, but now she's working outside the home again. I've no idea whether it's because she wants to work or she has to, now that she's a single mother.
She currently has an in-home nurse helping her care for Jaxon and was recently looking for one to work the weekends.
Brandon meanwhile, is travelling a lot, for work, recreation or both and seems to be having fun enjoying his newly single status. When he's not flying out of state, he spends his time going out with friends, attending BBQs and enjoying the Florida sun.

He doesnt seem to see Jaxon very much. It appears that he's visited his him once within the last several months. He managed to squeeze some time in between all his other trips to fly up to North Carolina so he could spend father's day weekend with him. Brandon cooed and went on about how much he just adores his little guy and loves him so much, but after Father's Day, it was back to fun in the sun with all his new found friends. He hasn't seen him since that visit in June.
Jaxon seems to be about the same as always. In other words, still a potato. Not that one would expect him to be any better, but he doesnt appear to have deteriorated as much as I'd have expected either. Then again, it's hard to tell from the few pictures they've posted.

Hate to revive this thread but does anyone know the source of the death rumors that someone on YouTube keeps posting in response to every video with Jaxon ? The same person using the same November 9, 2018 date and referencing one newspaper article using Jaxon Strong as the name and anacephaly as the cause but no link to this . There was a child named Jaxon that died from cancer but this was earlier.

I don't think this is even a possibility but want to see what this person is referring to .

I honestly believe he could live as long as Claire or Lola because he is very well nurished, his only physical activity is jerking movement from seizures and reflexes , he is medically treated unlike the Hartley girls and when Brittany moved she hired a fulltime RN to care for him . Unless he gets an infection that affects his organs, goes into respiratory failure or has a horrible seizure he isn't going anywhere. I hope I am wrong about this but there are people in worse conditions that are wasting away in nursing homes and have been there decades. People that were born with conditions as opposed to developing them or from accidents.

This is absolutely horrible because he seems to respond to stimuli with seizures and discomfort and that is about all .I know there are pain sensors or receptors in the brainstem, spine and parts of the brain and he has at the very least a minute amount of brain as well as brainstem and spine so I am curious as to if there are enough to feel some pain or discomfort . I know they say he doesn't have enough brain to process anything but this was the same as Claire Hartley and she seemed to only respond to things that were wet , cold or different from her normal environment with discomfort or startle.

Jaxon just looks completely miserable every second of his life and his simpleton father is still out telling people that abortion is wrong and that children like Jaxon are little blessings' . He doesn't seem to take his own advice because he only sees his blessing a few times are year and that's to use for photo opportunities.

Here's a story from 3 years ago; granted, it's from a blog. BTW, the baby's full name is Jaxon Emmett Buell; the word "strong" is nowhere in there. The child who died probably really was named Jaxon Strong.

Oh he seemed just as knee deep in the potato baby scam as the mother. His FB had photos of him in DC getting felated by the pro-life and evangelical lobbying wing and other BS.

I was thinking either the free money stopped flowing so generously and the care required for Jaxon increased. So vacations/shopping spree/paid trips dried up and the grinding, sad day to day care of Jaxon increasesd.

Even good relationships can implode under the stress of caring for a profoundly disabled child but these two struck me as shady grifters who stuck together when the donations poured in and kept up the pretense of a good Christian marriage while it paid well to do so. Once the limelight and money lessened the motivation to keep up the facade disappeared.

Oh, heck, good relationships can implode under the stress of caring for NORMAL kids. Happens more than most people realize.
