I thought the same until I realized there's another character who's even more like him. Dutch is like Phil's imagined version of himself; shrewd, calculating, tough and actually and has a level of notoriety for being "good" at what he does. Plus I would argue up to a point Dutch actually cared at least a bit about his people.. even if it was always rather self-serving and about adding to his own 10 Year Legacy.

He's closer to Uncle who sits around come rain or shine doing absolutely nothing and complaining about having terminal lombago.. yes terminal back pain. How he was a hotshot in the old days - he went by the knickname The One Shot Kid - insert DSP fap face. He shirks any kind of work or responsibility at every turn in favor of sitting with a bottle of booze. Even late in the game when things have gone to hell at camp you can still find Uncle sitting there oblivious to the misery around him making jokes about women's panties. And by the time the game is over he's still there clinging on doing the exact same thing he was at the start - leeching off of other people. He's the real DSP of the old west.

Uncle is lazy, but he's mostly harmless, and he helps ONCE IN A BLUE MOON.
I still stand by my point, DSP is more like Dutch, with a bit of Uncle laziness sprayed in.

You forget that Dutch is also a lazy son of a bitch, he never really contribuited to the camp, Arthur did all the hard work.

He was so entitled that his best contribution to the camp was asking Arthur to build him a bigger tent.

And Dutch is also super incompetent, he pretty much got carried by Hosea the whole time.
After Hosea dies, all his plans go to shit, showing that Hosea was the brains.
He also never really gave a shit about anyone, when Arthur got kidnapped by Colm in Chapter 3, he didn't even care. He just pretended to feel sorry when he realized Arthur was still alive and returned to camp all beaten up.

As someone who works with Adwords every day I can tell you that it's better DSP doesn't know the truth of how it works because it would make his head explode live on stream. Not that it's especially complicated, but yeah. DSP is being targeted by car companies far and wide because Google knows he is a dumbshit who thinks it's "a buyer's market for cars".

Don't expect anything. If they don't pay him, Phil will say no. And he will say no regardless because he is a pussy and can't comprehend exposure. Especially not from the sphere of Drunken Peasants who are basically detractors. Also Phil would have to leave the house and get in contact with strangers, it sounds like.
I suggest open a new thread when something actually happens or get announced.

I think what will happen is that people will ask questions about it on the stream over the next few days and one the mods will probably tell him what is up. It's kinda weird but DSP bitching about Drunken Peasants podcast will probably get him some money out of it... that is how things work around DSP. DSP talks shit about someone or something and people rush to give him money to keep it going.


I don't think that DSP needs anyone to go grocery shopping, he carries the same lore from Pandalee and just keeps it going. He probably spends a good chuck of money dining out with Kat.

Oh and the lore about him not wanting to drive is because of his lower back and the fact that he has to wear glasses. He doesn't want to wear glasses and I think he said in a stream recently that the last time he went to the optometrist was when he got his license renewed in Washington. The back stuff is something that he said over and over years ago, that his back hurts when driving on the highway. At that point pull out a driver seat cushion or those wooden beads.

To be fair, that'd be the first time in history DSP went cheap on anything. Fitting that when it comes to his image for his fans in particular he's still willing to buy any old crap. Makes me wonder who he's trying to impress with the house/BMW/trophy girlfriend. Maybe it was a rush job, a spur of the moment thing while he was drunk or something.

Given how Phil handled playing games with WingsofRedemption, I doubt that this will ever happen. I don't even know where DSP got it in his head that Wings was trying to start drama, Wings seemed bored and was probably looking for a viewership boost.

The Drunken Peasants and TJ are a bunch of lard ass rejects with shit opinions. That being said, IF Dark takes the bait and goes on this podcast itll be the most softballed lowkey shitshow where all they do is masturbate Dark's ego so they can keep him happy and get all those nice new viewers to show up and rage how they arent trying to actually grill Dark on his faggotry. Also they will have paid at least $1000 dollars minimum for just an hour of his time with heavy stipulation posed by Dark himself to even appear.

This will never fucking happen is what I am trying to get at. As much as I would love to tune into a podcast where Dark finally gets questioned on all his lies and schemes and his mental state. I know itll never happen. Ever.

Might be good thing for phil to get out of the house and make some friends. Yea it is strange, he did same thing with leanna. He would never leave her alone at house he always brought her with him grocery shopping.

We know how it's gonna go down. Phil will mention it, make out like he might do it. Then he/they will pull out because of the detractors. It's like clockwork. Wasn't he offered a podcast before? Didn't he turn it down because he couldn't control the questions they'd ask?

He didn't buy the chair. It was given to him as part of sponsorship.

My post was in response to another one working under the assumption he bought the chair. If you want to believe he came by it as he said he did, more power to you, but dood, context.

Also, if you do, I've got a bridge and a timeshare and a dog to sell you.

I know that part the "geist" here is to shit on Phil and assume that everything he says is a lie if it makes him look bad, but the way he shilled for spawnseats when he got the chair leads me to believe he got something out of that exchange.
