The reality is, Keem is just some guy who grew a big channel and has some connections at YT he can sometimes use and that's it. He's not betraying anyone by admitting that a company who's had at least 4 school shooters post their manifesto on their site in the last few years will probably want to ban anyone who's constantly making videos about one of them, even if he's technically not breaking the rules. He's also not doing anything wrong by admitting that the things Mumkey is doing are ensuring he won't get unbanned and won't be able to ban evade, because it's true.

Even if he wasn't right, or if he was willing to pretend like these things aren't true, him sperging out at youtube would have accomplished nothing because he has no power over youtube, and people insisting he is somehow failing his duties by not sperging out about this are just dumb.

My argument is that the amount of outrage he's going to espouse when Youtube fucks somebody is directly inverse to how displeased Youtube is with that somebody. IOW, he doesn't really have principles, divorced from Youtube's whim, on when somebody should get the ban hammer.

It's important to stress this here and now, because people were all set to give him a redemption arc based on the assistance he gave Jim. Problem is, I don't think Youtube really gave a shit whether Jim stayed or not (and interestingly enough, it appears that Jim is self-exiling himself to Stream.me anyways). I do think they clearly want Mumkey gone though.

It's a theory I (and maybe others) have as to how he got his Youtube contacts in the first place. I'm not saying there's a written contract or anything. I'm just saying that there's an understanding he won't go in hard on them on something that they are adamant about.

But getting back on topic, I do agree with how he'll easily fuck over others on YouTube or people he works with professionally. No doubt in my mind about that.

Hell, it's entirely possible that if he wanted to, he'd do the same with regards to YouTube. But can't for the obvious reasons. Keem comes off as that petty to just use YouTube and their staff as a means to better himself, but not dump them because he needs their platform to survive.
