It's going to be funny when the confirmation hearing shenanigans they pulled with Kavanagh are flipped on them some day when they nominate some Clinton type who has a really sleazy past with tons of recent and easily verifiable sexual abuse victims.

So now Liberals are openly pushing the "Cultural Marxism" narrative, but with a twist

Instead of the usual Yuri Bezmenov based narrative which is that the USSR infiltrated the US through academics, intellectuals, and political figures to influence the youth towards Marxism and that the Left we see today are the aftermath of such influence (the narrative we usually hear from conservative and reactionaries), its now a different Yuri Bezmenov based narrative on how conservative "fake news" and the like were originally created by, and based off of, Soviet "active measures" and that the "disinformation" campaigns we see today are really the relics of the USSR's meddling, with the Russians continuing the "legacy" and Trump and his supporters being the result of it. So Trump got elected because of Cultural Marxism.

Forgot to mention, I suppose this verifies that the USSR is still THE unequivocal boogyman of the US even after all these years, to the point that politics is just differently colored liberals claiming that their opposition is the progenitor of the USSR's spooky KGB majik.

My favorite part of this Russia stuff is that one of the more trenchant and valid criticisms the left had of the right was that right wingers were conspiracy nuts. It took them two years to go completely tinfoil hat.

All because they think it's worth defending the honor of a shit-tier politician. If Bernie won the Dem Primary and lost, they'd go fully commie and blame it on some conspiracy between Republicans/Democrats.
