I said this as a joke a few pages back
I wonder what would happen if Mueller says that they got nothing on Trump.
Just more proof we live in a timeline indistinguishable from satireIf Mueller says that theres no collusion all that means is that the collusion is so strong that even Mueller himself is a russian agent, obviously.
I will never understand all the pearl clutching about people waiting to get paid for a few weeks. It is really not hard to get cash loans or credit in this country unless you've been behaving like an absolute idiot with money for a decade. How are so many grown adults so financially illiterate and inept? Shouldn't it bother us that people who don't know how to save or deal with banks run so much of our government? What would these people do if they had a private sector job and were laid off?
I'll treat this as a serious question:
The reason is because the capital ships being built will replace ships slated to age out. The aging ships would require disproportionately expensive maintenance to keep in service. Ship building is also not something you turn off and on, especially DoD shipping. Ships take the better part of a decade to be designed and built, you have to hire & vet the builders, etc. Stopping a ship's construction is always more expensive than completing it unless you intend to permanently/near permanently shrink your navy by that ship.
When you see stuff like "NAVY HAS 8.2754 BALLIJION DOUBLE DOLLAR PONTOON BOAT" that is the total cost of the project. This includes things like spare parts, service, etc and is usually paid out over several years. Imagine if when you bought a new car, you had to pre-pay 10 years of insurance & routine maintenance in addition to the cost of the car. However, more importantly it includes guarantees of things like 'repair workers' and 'dry dock availability' should anything go wrong. Sometimes ships are out of service for months, or need to move while damaged to other states or other countries, to find a dry dock. And god forbid if any of the companies that made a part you need went under or shutdown the product line. Paying (well, lets be honest overpaying) for this access ahead of time ensures that the Navy isn't sitting thumb-in-ass waiting for a dry dock to open up.
This is why companies salivate over government contracts: The government always pays, and if you land one of these contracts its money that comes in on schedule for years. And if you make a product that exceeds the government's very easy to hit reliability standards, you profit. (and this isn't including all the other horseshit, like saying your supplies have increased their prices so you need to be paid more, you can pull to wring out more money)
Anyway, the reason the government deals with this horseshit and does all this because when you DON'T do it, this is what happens:

The media lose their shit so easily over the least little thing.
Imagine the utter chaos if the following all happened in the course of a couple of days (assuming RBG passes away before then).
1. Drumpf gets the wall funding
2. Drumpf nominates a very anti-abortion MAN to SCOTUS
3. Mueller releases his report, and there is nothing but maybe a couple of minor infractions
We would be overwhelmed with the autism. It would be salt Mardi Gras.
To steal a Mitch Hedberg joke; Cardi B used to suck dicks for money. She still does, but she used to, too.Cardi B's a former stripper. She used to suck dicks for money. Lowest of the low society right here being trusted because she's a "singer"
So the Buzzfeed report is completely inaccurate to Mueller's report? To steal a Mitch Hedberg joke; Cardi B used to suck dicks for money. She still does, but she used to, too.

What exact part is disputed... All of it.
This guy has got some great clips on his timeline of mostly cnn people Reee-ing if anybody wants to see it.
Buzzfeed, fake news and lies? Say it ain't so!
Well, he has to spend his otherwise worthless life doing something, right?
Damn, this nigga really got pissed at the Buzzfeed fake news thing. Reasonably enough, but a one-hour sperg out. Sheesh.
Well, he has to spend his otherwise worthless life doing something, right?
Here is a prime example of TDS. Nothing wrong with disliking Trump or disagreeing with him, but when his mere continued existence causes you to behave like this guy, it's pretty safe to say you're a casualty of TDS.View attachment 642826
I’m emotionally drained. It has been exhausting these past two years. I have little reason to believe Trump can be defeated. All the way down to his fucking diet. He never excercises, eats like a pig and is entirely healthy at 72. Nothing goes wrong with this asshole.
You forgot anti Semite.
It's glorious how these people go from smugness to having hysterical meltdowns when things don't go their way.People around the 'net are losing their increasingly tenuous holds on sanity over this recent shocker that isn't.

MUELLER IS A PUTIN PUPPET SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
It might be the worst Russiagate foul up. Why are those with TDS acknowledging this bungle so universally? Usually they just ignore it and eagerly wait for the next fake story that will totally destroy DRUMPF. I believe the reason so many are losing their minds now and fixating on this is that they got their hopes up the other day, they really had DRUMPF this time, this one is different from the 50,000 previous times (all of which were also different) and it didn't come true now they're furious. Someone must be the scapegoat for this.
I never believed the story, of course because it wasn't in Michael Cohen's plea.
